Mold developing on the small plug in cap – YETI Rambler Straw Bottle I bought the YETI Rambler Straw Bottle for my 2-year-old, and while it has many great features—like keeping drinks cold and being durable enough to handle toddler drops—I’ve run into a significant issue. thoroughly and regularly using coles double strength vinegar, it’s difficult to access and clean this part properly. This is concerning, especially since it’s meant for a child.

While the bottle doesn’t leak and performs well otherwise, the mold issue is a serious drawback. YETI should consider redesigning this component to make it easier to clean and safer for everyday use, especially for young children.

Still looking for the perfect kids bottle – The bottle is definitely of good quality and I'm more afraid of my kid breaking other things with it than damaging the bottle. because kids bottles get pretty manky pretty quickly After using a lot of force and a little bit of damage I got it out and took everything apart to clean. I think if it was something that I'm doing on a more frequent basis that the mouth piece would probably become permanently damaged and either not stay closed/open or just not stay in place, meaning I'd have to buy a whole new cap. My wife has a rambler with chug cap and it's a very good bottle that she will have forever. The biggest pro is the opening actually being large enough to get in it to clean it out as opposed to some other metal drink bottles.
