Zeta Impero

I did a lot of research in replacing my Conti tyres that were fitted on a 2019 Ford Escape AWD and although the choice was very broad, I landed on Zeta Impero tyres for a number of reasons, but primarily because I’ve had them before and wanted good performance without paying premium prices. It’s early days, but I’m delighted with them. Good grip in dry and wet, low noise and improved economy. Would definitely recommend them.
Purchased in for $620.

Fantastic tyre I trust to keep the family safe... again, just a little noisy – So a few years back I did a review on a set of Zeta Azure tyres for my wifes car (2014 XTrail). In that time we did around 30,000kms which doesnt sound like a lot to be needing to replace them, but that is not the tyres fault, its actually mine for not getting an alignment done every 12 to 18 months. There was still a decent amount of tread left to go but the fronts were well worn on the outside.
Unfortunately the cheaper Azures were sold out, so we went for the slightly more expensive Impero. @ 136 per tyre (we got ours from Motorsport Wheels and Tyre), they are a very good buy.
So far we have driven in a number of conditions with these new tyres and done around 3000kms since fitting them in October. Driving in torrential rain out to the NSW border and back and they have never made me feel anything but comfortable with how they have handled it.
The handling has been great in dry and wet.
The only thing that lets this tyre down, and to be honest it isn't that big of a deal and tends to improve as you get more Ks on them, like with the previous set is the noise. My god that first few hundred ks on the highway especially, is almost like torture. They are NOISY.
But all in all, they are a great and very affordable tyre if you are on a budget. Even if you're not.
