two weeks just to get it healed. Thanks to Pet Chemist he is back on the half a tablet of 16mg apoquel once a day and his skin couldn't be better. Almost no licking or itching and 100% happier. Effective but very expensive – I have been managing my dog's scratching and licking until recently when he started scratching his muzzle and ripping his face up. Within 6 hours of the first chewable he was like a different dog. It's now been 2 weeks since his first dose and he barely scratches at all. My only complaint is the price, it costs me $2.68 a tablet per day, which quickly adds up.
