rubbish – Had 4 on my Mondeo and just 10 months and 11000 miles both front tyres are bald. Vehicle has now failed MOT on front tyres. I am a driving instructor and this is my own car so is well looked after and driven smoothly. I will not buy these again!!  Show details

terrible tires – we have not had these tire very long and there down to the steal belt! my wife went in to have low pressure tire filled and have the tires rotated for the 1st time! Shocked beyond belief !! All 4 tires on the inside edge where showing cord! I've been in the automotive equipment business 30years and never seen anything like this! we were told 40,000 miles we got less than half of that!

Worn out in no time – I was advised by the dealer these tyres would give me the best mileage for my AWD territory, they are four months old now and 20000kms of hiway driving and one is bald the others are at various stages of wear but not much tread left. I paid over $250 per tyre, at this rate my normal 60000 Kim's a year drive to work and back will cost me over… Read more

$3000. The dealer told me the bald one is the drive tyre and wears more than the others ? And they should have been rotated every month. It may have been bad advise by the dealer to get these for a territory but I will never buy them again. Low noise. Excessive wear

Excessive wear & Loudest Tyre I have the unfortunate pleasure of owning – Excessive wear & Loudest Tyre I have the unfortunate pleasure of owning. Wear is uneven, sides wear faster, middle of tyre still good, even though I have done wheel alignment twice. The worst part is the deafening roar when travelling on sealed roads in the outback...enough to drive you crazy. The faster you drive, the louder the tyre roars… Read more

....the up side the loud tyre roar keeps the Kangaroos away. Sound like a new fast approaching wild animal on the prowl. Cannot wait to get rid of them. Looks nice...or Nothing at all Excessive wear & Loudest Tyre I have the unfortunate pleasure of owning

Warning: Excessive wear!! – Purchased a set of these tyres about 3 months ago. Was pleased with them to begin with, seemed fairly quiet, handled well etc. However it did not take long before I began to notice how quickly they were wearing. I have just clocked over 12,000kms and they are completely worn down to the indicator. I do drive on a lot of country roads with lots… Read more

of cornering, so I don't expect to get 60,000 out of a set of tyres. However 12,000 is absolutely ridiculous as far as I'm concerned - especially considering I have already rotated them once at 5000kms! Even more ridiculous considering these are advertised as 'ultra high performance' tyres, which are made for corning / good handling. That was the whole reason I decided to spent $180 per tyre to buy them, as I thought they would be more suited for the type of conditions I drive in. (Also, just to make it clear, I am no hoon)

For some comparison - The last set of tyres I had were the cheapest no name brand I could find to fit my car (Mazda 3 sp23) and I got 30,000kms out of the front, and around 40,000 from the back without rotating them once. (Driving on the exact same roads).

These tyres are completely worn front and back after 12,000 - there is no way I could possibly get any more km's out of any of them. I have been back to the shop where I brought the tyres, and everyone there has agreed that the wear is excessive. They contacted GT Radial warranty, who has come back today offering to replace the 4 tyres at half price - and that is the absolute best they would do, I was told to take it or leave it. Although it's something, I'm still less than impressed, hence this review and warning.. Overall, the way I see it, I paid $750 about 3 months ago for the 4 tyres and alignment, after only getting 12,000 out of those tyres, I now have to pay roughly another $370-390 for 4 more tyres which I have no guarantee are going to last any longer than the 1st set.

Overall, not a happy customer - GT Radial may be ok for highway driving - but if you plan on doing any cornering, don't expect to get far with them..

Excessive wear and expensive considering

Good affordable tyre – Have just put these tyres on current model Accord Euro 17" wheels. So far I have covered 3000Ks with them. My expectation have been exceeded these tyres grip well in both wet & dry conditions & are very quiet on all road surfaces. These tyres where aruond $40 to $100 cheaper than other brands in this size 225/50R17 98V not much to choose from as… Read more
