You get what you pay for – This bike started off ok for the first two months but then it was downhill from there. The first thing that went was the tyres which are extremely… Read more

poor quality. Next the battery failed to hold its charge so I upgraded to a larger capacity battery. The brakes wore out pretty quickly so I had to buy new ones. Finally the bike completely died with the controller going as well as the display so I've opted to purchase a different sort which doesn't really seem to respond to the bike. With all the money I've spent on this I decided to purchase a different brand, similar style, a little more expensive but it is way better than this garbage.

Don't bother. It will end up as nature strip hard rubbish – RRP was $1000. I bought this on sale at $700. Dick Smith/Kogan are are now trying to offload them for $600. That should tell you everything. On the… Read more

face of it, 13kg fly wheel, lots of programs, user definable programs, 500mm stride, rated for 150kg (I'm <<2/3rds that weight) - this unit looked promising.

Despite some pre-assembled items in the box, it took a couple of hours of assembly. When done it looked the business, but it had a loose articulated joint and a thump from the right hand side. The faulty joint actually came factory pre-assembled - nothing I could do to remedy it. DickSmith replaced the entire trainer and I assembled the second one - took an hour this time given that I knew what to do.

Unfortunately another faulty unit. This one didn't "glide" on its rollers - it was lumpy and rough and it left rubber debris on the rolling surface. I asked DickSmith if they could provide replacement rollers and they said they'd check but never got back to me. Radio silence. I was using the unit every other day for about 15mins and it started creaking and groaning despite all bolts/screws being tight. Then a wobble developed on the LHS due to a loosening primary articulated joint despite the screw being tight and my dash was done. Give me a refund. To DickSmith's credit they put the return paperwork through right away.

Now I'm looking at commercially available units for something that will go the distance.

Proof of purchase is available.

Lovely Colour – I purchased this for my sister visiting from Oregon USA. Absolutely loved it and found the cycle very comfortable to ride. I have not used it much… Read more

yet I did however find the saddle comfortable, I have to get use to the gears which you turn for different speeds a little tricky to what I am use to. Overall very happy with the product.

Good but with a lot of bad – Before you purchase from Kogan Read the returns policy it is not in your favor and you will have to pay shipping both ways. Kogan has no phone… Read more

contact and you may be emailing with someone with average English skills. Now on the bike... Motor is fantastic! I am 80kg and the motor can power me up a very steep hill at 18-20kms, so I give 3 stars solely on the motor. Bike frame welds are terrible, they are large and have pit holes. Gusset weld above the motor gives me little confidence in the frames strength. Spring forks are very basic and may contribute to a unsafe feeling. Tires and rims are thin making this bike a ROAD BIKE ONLY, I have ridden this bike on gravel / dirt / sandstone / cobblestone tracks at North Head Sydney bike track and the bike slips side to side and is a hard ride above 10kms. BATTERY FALLS OUT. The battery fell out of the bike when I was riding down hill, the battery hit the front tire went under the rear tire slipped and shocked the hell out of me, the battery is dented on the end and quite banged up hopefully it will not catch on fire when now charging. I have a cable tie holding it together. The bike has a locking slide that does not lock it just slides at will allowing the battery to fall free. Would I buy again... NO. Look for a better bike with the M400 motor. Buy from a company that has a phone contact.

too difficult for me to even send it back to them. They couldn't tell me if I would be charged the delivery and pick up. So I'm stuck with a broken machine because of the level of stress it caused me to get honest ongoing feedback or any support. Bad business to deal with if you care about climate change.
