after a few uses, its definetly worth the money i paid for it. used to spraying acrylic undercoat, and water based enamels. finish is great. 1 x 4ah… Read more
battery sprayed 11-12 litres of undiluted undercoat with .415 tip. 1 x 4ah battery sprayed about 14-15 litre of trim plus acrylic enamel with .211 tip. (please strain paint with stocking prior to filling hopper). can be a little dirty from manufacturing process.
apart from that, much better upgrade from my graco ultra handheld, which constantly needs new pumps @ $350 a piece.....
hope my review helps.
Did not last long – Very disappointed with wagner spray gun flexio 590 , had it 5 years ,used three times.Watered down paint and the motor burnt out.I would expect better quaility from wanger.
Pretty Good, But Not Great – Overall, this is an adequate paint sprayer for small jobs around the house or maybe for a home handyman but it certainly wouldn't suit a tradesman… Read more
etc.
It has enough flexibility with the adjustable nozzle - vertical / horizontal / circular pattern. You can also adjust the amount of paint that is allowed though the nozzle for a fine mist or a heavy coat. I did have to water down the paint that I was using to make it flow better, but that was never a big deal.
It provides a constant flow of air, and when you pull the trigger then the paint is allowed to flow so it has a pretty smooth application. The air flow isn't the highest in the range but nor is it the lowest but this is certainly suited more to spraying a single wall, not an entire room or house.
Overall, a good product for the price.
Works extremely well. I used it for painting plantation shutters with the gravity fed setup. Such a fine spray. Almost perfect with only 2 little… Read more
runs. What it really needs is a good solid stand The wire stand that comes with it is useless. I improvised with a cardboard box but even that is subject to toppling. You must also empty ALL the paint from the hopper before separating it from the gun!otherwise paint goes everywhere. So light to use unlike the flexio 590 Wagner I got rid of. Also the flexio system is prone to flooding paint into the electrical guts of the power head. Also the flexio system system self destructs if accidentally dropped. I went through two of those. The w690 to me is the best for small to medium sized projects.
Purchased Control Pro 300 Move prior to Christmas 2025, used it 3 times and it has failed 3 times. Love the concept, the mobility and the 3.7l paint… Read more
capacity but the T2 gun supplied is not up to the job. 3 out of 3 failures have been related to the T2 Gun. Unfortunately Wagner has chosen to integrate the gun and hose so it cannot be changed/upgraded easily. The Professional model has a much better quality metal Vector Pro gun but due to different fittings is not compatible with the cheaper Move backpack kit. Another point to keep in mind is this unit does need to be kept upright, it does not like to operate on an angle, it will alarm lettting you know when you lean to far over.
I summary I love the versatility of this gear but would not recommend the 300 move kit. If you can afford the Contractor/Professional model go for the upgraded model. Bear in mind it’s double the price!
Now for the facts. Painting large surfaces is easy. The hard part is surface preparation, masking, cutting in. However if you still want to make the… Read more
easy part even easier, the Easyroll is what you want. No pouring paint into the tray, no spills, less trips to get paint. Also you will always have the right amount of paint your roller cover. Fast an mess free. I have read negative reviews, but I suspect they were due to user error. Before use make sure everything is in place and tight and you should have no issues. The exploded diagram in the user manual will help to check correct assembly.Clean up is more time consuming than the traditional rollers but it's worth it. A little hack, push a garden hose on the roller for easy cleaning. Also when doing the long strokes instead of using the trigger i keep pressure on the plunger. No leaks no issues out of the box. After cleaning lube up the rubber parts and good to go next time.
It did the Job required with ease. It could use a larger paint reserve tho
Brilliant after sales service – I purchased a Wagner 985E (now called Flexio 995) spray painting kit from Bunnings in 2014, just under $400. Unfortunately, one month after the… Read more
two-year warranty expired, the pump stopped working. I took it to Bunnings who inform me there was nothing they could do as it was past the warranty period (a reasonable response). I contacted a place that services Wagner products, but was informed that the repair would be about as much as buying a new one. I contacted Wagner Australia via email to explain my predicament. I was very quickly contacted by Hayden Smythe (Wagner Australia) who informed me that despite the equipment being past the warranty period that "Wagner will still look after you.". He sent me an email authorising Bunnings to replace the entire kit under warranty, which they did. In short, it's nice to experience a company of reasonable people that care about the customer, even after the sale!
