255-70r16 decent on sand – I had these installed when my np300 was at 50,000km they lasted to 156000km.. great value for money.. abit noisy on the highway but nothing crazy.. I… Read more

have taken them to Fraser, Moreton, straddy and the Simpson dessert.. and it has preformed very well at low pressure 15psi and bags very well..

Even wear and they handle very well in all conditions..

I would have gotten another set but they discontinued the at980 bravo.. very disappointing

Good Tyre.....Great Tread life....but???? – Have had 2 sets of MAXXIS HT760'S and very happy with the wet and dry grip and tread life, getting more than 70,000kms off both sets. Most of all the… Read more

improvement in economy over the tyres that came with the car was amazing, improving 20%, which i would never have believed such a big difference was possible if i hadn't experienced. I did, however, recently decide to change over to Kumho Crugen HT51's and OMG the sound reduction is huge. Have driven over 180,000kms in my Ford Escape and never known how quiet it could be. Grip, economy and noise all excellent. If long term tread wear is as good as the dealer says then these Kumho HT51's are a big step up and got for slightly cheaper than quoted from multiple stores for replacement Maxxis.

Awesome Tyres. Look at the pictures. 10,000 kilometres and they look brand new! – I have done 10,000 kilometres and the tyres look brand new. I rotated them after 5,000 kilometres and will keep doing this for better life. I cannot… Read more

find any fault. These are on my 2010 Triton 2WD. I live in Western Queensland and most roads are single lane which means sometimes you have to get onto the gravel/dirt and with these tyres you can do so with confidence. Like I said, I cannot find fault. Awesome tyres and well done Maxxis and your team of designers and all involved with Maxxis. You really have hit the preverbal nail on the head with these tyres. Awesome!

Best all terain tyre on market – Double watershed pattern is excellent for stopping safely in wet and slippery conditions. Traction pattern and deep tread ideal in wet… Read more

grass/clay/loose gravel. Deep tread pattern results in more kilometres per dollar, therefore less down time replacing.

Agressive nice looking tyres for an A/T. Bought from new, the first 5000kms were fine but they eventually developed extremely loud road noise with an… Read more

off beat humming sound from 40kmh to 90kmh depending on the road surface and temperature.

Tires were rotated, aligned and balanced again after 10,000 and nothing changed. Mechanic ruled out any issues with wheel bearings, differential etc and said live with it.

After 15000kms there is noticable chipping and gouges from the tyres even though it has been mostly highway driven and no off road. Will look elsewhere next time.

Have been using Maxxis AT-771 for many years on a Rodeo ute and Fortuner. Have always been very happy with them overall and especially on wet roads.… Read more

The Rodeo used to be terrible on wet roads until I put on Maxxis 771s. More recently, roughly early 2025 or late 2024 I put 771s on the Fortuner to replace the existing 771s and they are absolutely treacherous on wet roads. The tread pattern hasn't changed and certainly any new tyre coating is long gone but only moderate acceleration will the back tyres, cornering doesn't give much confidence either in the wet. I am convinced the rubber compound has changed, anyone noticed this also?

80,000kms and counting! – Tough, can't puncture, iv got 2 nails in one tyre for the last 10,000kms and doesn't lose air. Done countless off-road trips outback to beach towing,… Read more

almost at wear markers at 80,000kms. You can't kill these tyres, are they loud, I don't know probably if that's something that worries you just go for a highway terrain.

Very happy with performance – I have these tyres on my Pajero Sport. I tow a caravan and occasionally go off road or beach driving, so need a good all round performance tyre.… Read more

These fit the bill nicely. Others have commented that the tyres are noisy. I have not found that to be the case. My tyres have travelled about 20,000 klms and I have the tyres rotated at each service. They still have heaps of tread and are pretty quiet on the road. Traction in the wet and off road is excellent. I’m not a fan of the really bold lettering on the side walls but can live with that.
