Don't buy a Neff oven – I have a Neff oven which, I have been told by Neff that every time I use it (the inside of the door always becomes soiled), that I need to take the… Read more
oven door off, take it apart to clean, re-assemble and then replace it. It is not an easy task, and is time consuming. I should have kept my old oven, the door didn't get soiled internally. Be warned.
Harvey Norman did a great sales pitch on this when we bought the hob and oven. I had misgivings about the slide and hide feature as reckoned it… Read more
would not last mechanically (it just failed and the whole thing just fell apart) and would deposit food scraps inside the cabinetry (it did).
The seals have failed and it seems to always need to have the Ecoclean function performed.
Tried to pull the door off to clean the glass a few years back which required a Neff service to refit the door to the hinges.
Very disappointing experience for a high end appliance on top of the Neff Dishwasher Stainless surface which is heavily corroded and we don’t live near the ocean.
Underwhelmed, under powered, annoying service issues – Underwhelmed This is our second induction cooktop (different model from previous) and we were impressed by the reviews for this model. Sadly, the… Read more
two smaller right hand burners often fail to sense the presence of a saucepan so they won't heat anything and the large burner, although more powerful, also sometimes just decides to stop heating for no reason which is frustrating in the middle of cooking a sauce or anything really.
The two smaller burners individually are fine but are not very powerful when they are both heating so there's often a fair amount of saucepan juggling to switch to the big burner which has plenty of oomph. But it's disappointing to have to keep moving a saucepan when you need more heat at a certain point in cooking.
The dials take some getting used to with a scale of 0 - 9. 9 (or the P power setting) will boil things ok, but anything much below 7 barely keeps things simmering so all your cooking seems to be done on 7, 8 or 9 making 1- 5 almost redundant except to keep something warm.
The frypan sensor sounds a good idea (thermostatically keeping a constant temp) but again the scale goes from 1-5 but really only 4 or 5 seem to deliver any frying heat and I'm not sure what is the point of 1-3.
Those technical niggles aside. If it works properly it's neat. It's quite stylish and we did really want a knob rather than slidy dials which never seem to work with wet fingers. So the control wheel is a good feature.
As mentioned elsewhere in other reviews, Bosch service (they own NEFF) is awful and 2 months later we are still waiting for "spare parts" to arrive to fix an issue no one has even been to diagnose. For a $2000 cooktop which was faulty at installation I find this completely unacceptable.
That service issue aside, we're underwhelmed by the lack of everyday performance.
Perfect for me. Favourite thing is the 280mm zone, which is larger than most. Right zone flexibility is fabulous. Performance is fantastic. The… Read more
single controller for all zones takes getting used to, though worth it for the space it save. Price point was great. Overall I just love this cooktop and glad I didn't buy a larger one.
So much better than previous! – We have been using this Neff rangehood for about a year now, and it is performing great. It is so much more quiet than our previous rangehood, and… Read more
looks very smart with the black trim. I had some initial worries for the touch buttons, but rest easy, they work smoothly and easily. As a nice little bonus, the rangehood will even remind you every couple of months to clean the filters (dishwasher safe).
Neff steam oven reliability? easy fix if I had known – Recently had a Neff steam wall oven installed 6 weeks ago and it has worked perfectly until undertaking it's first descaling operation. During the … Read more
first rinse cycle the oven stopped working and displayed an error code and instructed me to press the power button to retry. During the retry the oven pumped water out over the floor and cupboards and now has become practically useless. I have discovered that the descale process cannot be "interrupted" and as a result no other function on the oven is available to me, even if I turn it off and on again the oven returns to the point just prior to the error message. The descale process cannot be overridden to allow me to use the oven in any way. Following this I contacted NEFF customer service, which operates 24/7 and they were very helpful arranging a call to me from a repair technician within two hours. This is a very good service however this is where my next problem started. The technician indicated that they could not attend for 9 days and if the oven required a part it would take up to 14 days to obtain the part IF it is in Australia and 4 weeks if it had to be sent from Germany. There would also be a waiting time for the technician to attend once the part had arrived. My experience with the oven up until now has been a joy and it does exactly what it says it will do and does it very well but the downtime I experienced was unnecessary The technician who attended gave an easy fix. Please read my response to this review for details.
Don’ Buy – It’s a microwave, yeah, so why does it gain time? It’s over priced for what it is to match up with your Neff oven. Mine was changed over once, the… Read more
next one has had the motherboard replaced, tech admitted there was an issue with them, but it still gains time, definitely not worth the money or buying.

any oils. One of my induction saucepans does not work on the large hot plate. I feel it is gimmicky rather then efficient.
No options and does not clean – No options for washing cycles, does not clean properly, very expensive for this low quality.Over rated German crap. One washing cycle is very short and the other one is very long.Do not buy it.Go for other brands

recommends is a cleaning cycle and it came up with E31 and call for service. There was a big leak under the dishwasher into the tray underneath and onto the floor which is why it was coming up with error. Checked all the hoses behind all good but leaking underneath. After waiting 2 days for a call back on service we now have to wait 10 more days for someone to come look at it. Terrible. I am worried that if it arrived broken it may not last and would rather a replacement but until someone comes to look at it we can't even get a refund.
