the LED lights went out. Looked up the manual and was supposed to be a simple cases of remove the light and the 2 aluminum filters and "unplug the wiring connection" as stated in the manual. Well, the connection is inside the motherboard which is housed in a plastic casing. This casing is right behind the motor and screws for the casing are really awkward to get to because of the adjacent motor. Really poor design for a lighting connection and the manual does not make this obvious.

burners do not work well, I need to have everything on full blast to try and get something out of them. Forget stir frys, it boils the meat instead of cooking. If you want a cooktop to actually cook on try something else and don't get stuck.

unit falls onto the stove each time you slide it out. I called Good Guys, the sole representative for Viali, and they couldn't offer support and don't know of any way to troubleshoot the issue or offer spare parts. After sales support is unfortunately quite poor. I found an after sales contact number for the distributor and have been on the phone waiting to speak to someone for over 20 minutes. If I had my time again, I'd spend more money to purchase a product which would last.

oven stopped working. The Good Guys technician advises that there are no spare parts carried for this oven and so it can't be repaired. It should be refunded by The Good Guys under their voluntary warranty policy but they have not responded to our claim.
