Most mattress manufacturers offer 10 year -25 year warranties.

The tommy swiss mattress as purchased has proven not to be useable beyond 3 years.

After 3 years the springs can be felt through the outer covering on both sides of the mattress.

The outer covering has not worn well and has compressed to such thinness that the springs can be firmy felt, not conducive to a good nights rest.

The mattress also markedly sags into the middle - a little like trying to sleep in a hammock.

The tommy swiss mattress has been regularly turned and now after just 3 years has reached the stage where it needs to be replaced - proving to be not very durable.
