windscreen was when it rained. Especially at night. But I recently used the rest of the 1 gallon container that I bough from Halfords on my classic Saab 99 and it has damaged my paintwork. I have not noticed it on my Ford Focus but the paintwork on my Saab is immaculate and everywhere where the screenwash has touched the paintwork it has damaged and faded the paint. There are water marks on the bonnet and roof that can not be polished out. I will never use this stuff again or anything else from this company until this is rectified this and they have contacted me to investigate the damage and product that I bought to find out what has happened and gone on. Fortunately I still have the plastic an and receipt from Halfords. I will be draining both car systems of this stuff now and getting rid of it. Just a warning to other people. Could be a faulty batch or something. Waiting for rainx to contact me and hopefully we can get to the bottom of it and come to a solution and work together. I will post again. At the moment I rated my review as terrible because there is no warning on the container that the ready mixed will damage your paintwork. But that might change depending on the outcome. But at the moment not very happy at all.

29/09/24 - The company got back to me to check on the batch number and product. Said that there was nothing wrong with it. Suggested scrubbing off the car using dish soap and washing liquid.

04/10/24 - I scrubbed the car as directed for around an hour and it did nothing. Definitely not dried on screen wash. Sent them another video and more pics of me doing it and the end result. Heard nothing back from tnem since. So my classic car is now permanently marked

as advertised. is incredible hard to see through at night.we contacted the Australian supplier about it and was ignored. it’s bloody awful to remove too
