Be very careful with this product. We applied it as per instructions only to discover it put a dangerous haze on your windscreen and did not work as advertised. is incredible hard to see through at night.we contacted the Australian supplier about it and was ignored. it’s bloody awful to remove too

Purchased in at Umart Online Online store for $20.

Since applying this treatment, my windscreen has been the dirtiest EVER. The wiper blades stick and white stuff is building up right where the wiper stops, which just happens to be right in the middle of the drivers vision. Night vision is terrible.

Purchased in at Repco for $35.

Best prices without driving anywhere for Rainex products – Package arrived within a couple of days and much cheaper than the big chain retailers .Would definitely recommend them and this product especially when rain events are set to continue .Not to mention the safety aspect of this product .

Water beading technology – As the box states it applies water beading technology to dramatically enhance visibility and it works, not just for water beading but during summer I've used this and found that when you drive through a swarm of insects especially if you are driving in the country the insects do not stick to the windscreen. I clean my windscreen as per usual and the squirt some of the Rain X onto a clean cloth and put onto the windscreen in circular motion, it then dries to a haze and I buff it off twice using a micro fiber and Bowden's Green Clean Glass Cloth. I use the first cloth that is still wet with the Rain X and apply it to the headlights. So, good for winter with the rain beading off the glass and great during summer with insects not sticking to the glass.
