The dealership initially confirmed this and advised that the case would be submitted for warranty approval, which was expected to take 1–2 days. However, the process took over three weeks, during which we were unable to drive the vehicle. Communication throughout this period was poor, with repeated delays and little proactive follow-up from the service team. Although the warranty repair has now been approved, we are facing further delays due to additional approval requirements involving a third-party rental provider. This has extended the inconvenience significantly. What is most concerning is the lack of customer care shown by the service staff. The interaction was dismissive and unprofessional, which added to an already frustrating situation. Overall, this experience reflects poorly on both the dealership and the support process behind MG Motor Australia. I would strongly recommend improvements in communication, timeliness, and customer service.
