No receipt, no warranty – Don't forget the receipt from the store. Without it, no warranty service. My previous owner bought it since the previous one hadn't been working.… Read more

However, I haven't received a receipt. And after 8 months later, I contacted the customer service since the knob is malfunctioning. They said "Unfortunately warranty is only transferrable if you have the original purchase receipt." I wouldn't recomment anyone who is considering because of reasonable price.

I brought this 4 years ago and have recently been looking for prices and reviews on others for by daughter who is buying a new cooktop. So, I thought… Read more

I should write one. Firstly, I agreed with others about the sensitivity if moisture or something is put near the control, it turns off very frustrating. Secondly the large element seems to cook hotter on one half, I can actually have breadcrumbs from crumbed steak burn on half of the pan while the other does not. I paid $1022 and looking around I should have better for this price.

Hate this cook top with a passion!! – I've had this cook top for about 4 months and HATE IT!! Note to myself "just because it's a good brand doesn't mean it's a good product!" One of… Read more

the numerous issues is the burner sizes and positions on this cook top it has only 1 burner for a large pot so if you are boiling rice in a large saucepan and stir frying in a large wok it is not possible to get consistent heat on both as only one burner is large. I often play musical sauce pans which is a hazard with boiling water especially. Mine has a black glass top which I thought would be easy to clean. NOT!

Yes these are problems I should have seen when purchasing so I have learnt a very expensive lesson! I also CAN NOT no matter how low I adjust the flame produce a simmer in a saucepan. Just to add to my frustration the "rubber ring" surrounding my aforementioned large burner has decided to leave the party and come apart and just hang on it's own over the glass. The 2 smaller burners at top and bottom of cook top hardly ever get used so I've basically bought an annoying 2 burner cook top for $1197. I so miss my 20 year old cook top...

Thanks Ariston! Good marketing but you have lost a customer for life and I will spread the word!! Buyers beware!!
