It's ok for a starter set at a realistic price point – Got this a couple years ago. And for the price -- which was like $249 for a six-piece set -- it was ok value for money. But it bends very easily.… Read more

Even if you drop it from waste height on a wooden floor, it will dent the pan. We've done it twice in the last two years, and that's very unfortunate.

We use wooden or plastic utensils to cook with, and that is important. And doing so it cleans easily enough. It's maintained its anti-stick feature. So, for a low price, this is ok value for money. But the prices I see of late, ~$309+ for the same set, is above the real product value. I would struggle to recommend it for the price I paid.

Pyrocast is foundry pre seasoned. The pan is quite corrugated yet nothing sticks. Bacon browning stays on the bacon instead of the pan and eggs or frittata slide straight out. The size is perfect for a single person, fitting 2 eggs or a single serve of meat. Maintenance is easy and fuss free. Just wash, dry and rub with oil. That's it!

Before purchasing this pan, I hated cooking and eating. Now I can't wait to create my next meal. Cooking has become a joy. Nothing compares with the flavour that cast iron creates.

I would never have guessed that cast iron would be so easy to care for.
