Fantastic and quality – Very well, this product I just saw online and purchased it months ago. I have been using this everyday and glad I have the great set.

Steak knives only - Brilliant – This review is for the steak knives only. A fork is a fork is a fork, they make no difference to a meal. However, a knife can either make a meal… Read more

easy and pleasurable or difficult and cumbersome. I was given a set of these knives in 2001. Recently I purchased some more. I can barely tell the difference between the old and new. That is how good the quality is. I use these every single day and the 17 year old ones are still as sharp as they were all those years ago. I have had other steak knives, but gave them to the op shop. These are the only ones you need to own. Tomatoes are very easy to cut with these too. They are a potentially tricky fruit to cut. A straight knife never does the job as well as a serrated one. These knives cut through anything. Steak is a breeze. I have always chucked them in the dishwasher and have had zero handle problems. I also bought the potato peeler. It is great quality and still as sharp as day one. Highly recommend!

Very happy with the quality of these! – It was a risk buying a 56 piece set without seeing them in person, however, I’m more than satisfied with my choice. The 18/10 stainless is very nice,… Read more

especially in a mirror polish. The weight of each item is ideal. The detail of finish is excellent as well. I find the knives nice and sharp (as can be expected for bread/ dinner knives), which is also testament to the high quality. My wife and I have been using the set for several weeks and I’m very glad I made the purchase. Attached images are as of right now after weeks of use and dishwashing. No discernible marks at all and we haven’t gone easy on them.

great cutlery set – Awesome cutlery set, we chose these because the knives are sturdy, the forks are strong and the spoons are good... all in all a great cutlery set to… Read more

any household.

The simple and elegant design is timeless, this makes me think of being in a high class restaurant, we have put these away for dinner parties and when our everyday set needs to be replaced, these will come off the bench for everyday use. They are that good. strong sturdy design and they are very elegant, the knives are strong and do not bend against a fair amout of pressure, same can be said for all the pieces. We got these on special. if we hadn't have gotten them on special, we would have had to pay more money, because they were the best of the lot in the whole store.

Perfect for every day use – I purchased this set in 2016 and it has held up so well with every day use. A few pieces have gone missing so I'm replacing with the same. Good shape, weight, comfortable to hold Show details

look after it by not leaving it in water and drying with tea towel. Can be put in dishwasher but any stains I wipe off immediately. Would highly recommend this set,so completely happy with it.

Long term daily user of Maxwell & Williams Madison Cutlery – In 2007 I bought an eight-place setting of Maxwell & Williams Madison Cutlery to use as an everyday set. Over time I have added to it as I found it… Read more

to be a good quality set, first I moved up to 12 place setting. Recently (July 2024) I decided to upgrade to 16 place settings and purchased loose pieces from Myer. After seventeen years of daily use and being washed in the dishwasher the only difference between the pieces is that the new ones are highly polished whilst the older pieces looked like brushed stainless steel with a matte finish. I couldn’t be happier with the quality of this cutlery.

Great set, modern and light and still great condition after 12 months. We use at home and in our cafe. We always dry immediately after cleaning or out of the dishwasher and polish every 6 months with bar keepers friend. Show details

absolutely great. I don't use them as my everyday set (although I definitely could if I wanted to) but I use them every time we have company or any special occasion or BBQ.

What I like about them is the different colours, they look very festive on the table and each person can easily see which colour is theirs. They look good quality too. They are a strong stainless steel. I like the fact that the cutlery is extremely comfortable to hold and the knife is like a steak knife and tackles any dish I care to make. I particularly like the fact I can put them in the dishwasher and they have not faded at all.

I looked them up, they are not cheap but I think they are worth it for the quality.

wow wow wow Box was classy with a sliding glass lip the setting within that they sat perfect. Guarantee and instructions included. Just to run your finger careful along the knife edge wow sharp. This set cost $49-95 for 4 compared to an lower class set that were 29.95 for 6 what a joke that is approx $12.50 per knife compared to approx $7.30 I can never get into Victoria's Basement to see these items so have to trust the shop to buy the best. This is the difference to pick up a steak knife, look at it in aw or pick up a steak knife and think what a load of rubbish this is.

Everyone doesn't desitate Stanley Rogers Precious Pistol Grip Steak knife set is incredible

steak knifes. These knifes are slicing through cooked meat like a hot knife through butter! You can even use it for slicing to serve the meat. The mirror finish is spectacular. Using these gives you definite feeling of quality and luxury. I got these from DJ Online, price matched to $299 + $9.50 postage and could not be happier. Stand-up knife design, sharp knifes, mirror finish, simply everything.

wide, and the spoon bowl is a good depth - not too shallow. The knives are serrated, a good width for spreading butter etc., and they cut beautifully.

They are fantastic quality - they wash up fine in the dishwasher and the finish is flawless. I don’t expect to have to buy another cutlery set again, unless it’s another set of this design.

Both the 42 piece and the 24 piece set are for 6 place settings, the larger including salad sized knife, fork and spoon

rusted. The logo on the knifes is rusting and showing rust spots all over. The quality of them feels so poor too, there's manufacturing defects, marks, and sharp steel bits that stick out.

Disappointed with this brand, the quality has gone downhill, will be sure to never purchase from them again and to not recommend them to anyone.

even after hand washing or cleaning in the dishwasher. The box states they are stainless steel as well make on the serated knife section has scractched however the handle does not appear to be stainless steel and has marked easily. The can leave your teatowel discoloured and even when you think you have washed and dried these properly they shows stains the following day. Very disappointing. Previously had a good set of Stanley Rogers cutlery set which worked well for over 30 years and decided to update the steak knives. Absolute waste of money. Purchased on sale.

rough section along one side. The price when I bought was very good, having been reduced to $79. On returning the set to the store, Harris Scarf, they offered to exchange the set for some other models they had in stock or a refund. As we didn't want the other models we took the refund with the aim of watching out for another good special. It was disappointing to see the flaw in one piece of the set, but also others did look a little scraped merely from being in the drawer together for a few months. I think that may be because it was an 18/0 stainless steel. The thing I don't like is wasting an entire set because of one piece being flawed. In future we would buy only 18/10 cutlery which is a far better grade and recommend to other consumers to do the same. I would hope that Harris Scarf returned it to the manufacturers pointing out the problem.

heavens we only paid $50 not the $179 asking price. We had to go through 4 boxed sets before we found a set without dents, scratches and deep pitted black marks. I was really surprised to see the bad quality and noted they were made in Vietnam which explains the lack of quality control which the English had established. I guess it's all a matter of price nowadays but whatever we are quite disappointed where another good brand name has bit the dust in the sake of profit maximization.. The price and looks Hopefully nothing until I get the microscope out

cutlery surface (especially the knives), but I can assure you that our 18/10 stainless steel is impermeable to rusting and thankfully this is only aesthetic and not a manufacturing fault which can easily be rectified. At Robert Welch we do not recommend washing your cutlery with other metals in the sink or dishwasher, Using a small amount of your cream cleaner with a microfibre cloth, carefully buff the affected area to remove any rust spots. Wash in warm soapy water, dry thoroughly and buff with a clean, microfibre cloth" I will let you the reader decide for yourself.
