Consistently High Quality and Performance – This is the third Tefal product I've added to my pots and pans family. I am replacing all my old ones including stones and other premium non-sticks.… Read more
They all have consistent quality so you know exactly how they will perform. The non-stick coating is far better than any other brands. Literally nothing sticks to it. Don't even need any scrubbing power when cleaning. Just rinse and wipe and everything is gone. And just to test my laziness to the next level, I have also washed it in the dish washer numerous times and it is completely unaffected.
The size of this wok is slightly smaller than the traditional wok but is suitable for a family of 3-4 people.

Great to start; didn't last – Used on a gas cooktop. Paid $104 for the pan in May 2023. Bad point: the non-stick surface degraded (very unevenly) over the course of 18 months,… Read more
sufficiently that I'm going to replace the pan. There is visible patchiness in the surface on one side. I have been quite careful in using the pan, only hand-washing an only using 'non-stick-safe' scourers when using scourers at all.e Good points: the handle remains cool while cooking; the product weight is fine and it is easy to manage. Would not recommend.

is good. But mine, the red dot centre never changes colour no matter how hot the pan is. I thought it was supposed to get redder! Mine does nothing. I also hear noises almost like cracking sounds which freaks me out at times as the cooktop is ceramic and I think its coming from that and breaking. Its the pan making expansion noises as it heats. I wish it didn't do that. Mine arrived also with a loose handle which for what it cost me was poor having to get a screw driver and tighten it. The other annoyance is you have to sit it a certain way after washing it so water drains out of the handle area. I found this out after the first wash and a day later noticed water from it on the cooktop when it started heating. These are not in my opinion as good as they are made out to be. I wouldn't buy another of these. First and last. An update one month on. Iv dropped the star rating to 2. I only use this to make small omelettes and scrambled eggs. This thing is developing scratches all over the supposed scratch resistant surface. I have a Mint frypan from Woolworths thats tripple the size of this, has cooked chops with bones and everything imaginable. It cost just $30 and has been used ten times as much as this Tefal! There's not a mark on it yet! Check out the difference from the Tefal to the Mint!

pan fry. I really like that you can have the lid stand on the end handle, good not having to find somewhere for the lid.
Jamie Oliver Hard Anodised 24cm Frypan by Tefal – Love it. Put sizzle back in my world. Cooked steak to medium rare perfection. Catfish fillet in ghee sizzled nice & crispy. Couldn't be happier with the half price purchase :-) Thanks!
I always love my tefal non stick cookware . Now trust me on this, don't listen to the rubbish that people print or talk about on Youtube regarding… Read more
coatings .This will not kill you or make you sick and let's be honest here , is there any recorded deaths or sickness from using these pans ? Stick with the facts, this coating has 5 times extra life than the normal Tefal coating, this is not Teflon,
Tefal’s non-stick coatings are rigorously tested and certified by external independent laboratories to surpass current food contact regulations. They are guaranteed to be 100% free of PFOA, lead, and cadmium, and are made with PTFE, which is recognized as safe and inert by health authorities in Europe and the USA. Now the pan itself is 26cm,it also comes in a 24cm,it has a base slightly larger than my Tefal Wok, the side height is about the same but has less slope . There is no lid with this , so you will have to buy one of those multi fits for around $34.00 for a good one.
My only gripe is the handle, it's not oven safe.
I guess I am used to the Jamie Oliver range which is built like a tank.
This unit replaces my Circulon pan which is larger, heavier and sticks like hell . Noted also this has pour spouts on both sides of the pan and the coating will also take a beating from a metal spatula . It is also made from 18/10 stainless Steel .
You get the standard 2year warranty plus, 5 years for the stainless steel on the base and 10 years for the stainless steel on the sides .With the coating you will have to check on that , I know Tefal New Zealand warrant the coating for life but you will have to check .
Like all Tefal cookware it is a pleasure to work with, and to be real, I don't take any notice of that hotspot in the pan , I am old enough to know when a pan is hot enough to cook with ,what will they think of next......Wifi???
I recenlty purchased this fry pan collection from Myer at only $128. RRP $429.99. The fry pans work on every normal cooking surface except in your… Read more
oven. I have found them heavy, and a breeze to cook with. They are non stick and have a durable coating and have a comfortable silicon grip. Time will tell on the longetivity of these fry pans. The build feels very solid. There is an 'hourglass' on the pans that disappears when the correct cooking temperature is reached. I find this of good help when cooking.Having the three different sizes is good to enable the right pan for the job at hand. They come with a 2 year warranty. So far I am pleased with the purchase and obviously happy with the reduced price.
Bought the Tefal Ultimate Non-Stick Induction Frypan set (30cm and 26cm) 27/12/2023. After only 2 years the coating has noticeably deteriorated and… Read more
both pans have started to stick, even with careful use and proper cleaning. Eggs and simple foods that used to slide straight off catch, which is messy to clean up and is frustrating. See pics, the most used pan has lost its coating altogether. For a product marketed as “ultimate” with a reinforced coating, I expected a longer lifespan than around two years. These weren’t cheap, and I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect better durability.

heat the frypans ( to frying temperature) because they become non- stick ! What's the point of using these frypans if you can't fry ? They wouldn't show me any paperwork that advises not to heat to a certain temperature and certainly would not cover the two year warranty. They also claim you can use metal spatulas but won't warranty scratches made with metal spatulas. What a rip off. Don't waste your money on these. I wonder how healthy the non-stick material is, especially as it's worn off. I will be throwing mine away.
