must say how can quality sound be generated by just a sound bar / projector but I was in for a surprise. It is just awesome and if your TV supports Dolby ATMOS and you connect it via HDMI to this beast, you will be moved by the sound. But make sure you have the right sub at least NS-SW100 or higher.
No cables no bulky speakers everywhere. Just this projector and the sub which you can place anywhere but will need to buy the wireless kit.

had a mobile app for controls, but guess you cannot get all bells and whistles with a sub $500 Soundbar + Wireless Woofer with Dolby Atmos DTS:X which sounds quite punchy It's connected to our TV via HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) which helps to control the soundbar volume with the TV remote. The only niggling factor is that if the TV goes to sleep, the Soundbar is turned off by itself after some time, and won't turn on by itself if TV is turned on; it needs to be turned on via its remote. Build quality is solid and goes well with our decor. It comes with the wall mounts, however, we've placed it on the shelf below our TV. Overall really happy with the purchase. While the item is simple and small I found it impossible to find either on the JBL website, the good guys, or JB pretty much anywhere the "RMS ratings" of the bar and the sub.
Without this very valuable information it is near impossible to get something decent without hearing it in person (if they have it set up) which in this case they didn't (marketing tactics my guess)
Anywho, has an underwhelming (smaller than my palm) subwoofer 20w power usage (it's horrid). sub - about 15wrms output (minusing 5w for the wireless and loss) The Logitech was a 6.5" 80wrms wired sub Much much more full and powerful massively noticeable when watching movies

refund the money. Case was raised, in few days a their Philippines call center transferred the case to the Australian call centre. A customer care rep based in Australia and said tough luck no refund and cant do anything. I asked the case to be escalated and was promised as her manage would call me.
Days passed, no call from Samsung Australia so contacted them back but call had to go to their call centre in Philippine and they could not give any update. Waited for another week and still nothing, so called them last week and was told the case is already closed and not more updates. Again I asked to speak to a supervisor so after being on hold for 30 or so minutes, was promised that someone will call. The rep in offshore call Centre repeatedly massaged their colleagues in Australia but they did not entertain her and rejected the request.
Today their offshore rep called me and said the Australian team has rejected the case and there is nothing more to be done. I asked for the Samsung Australia's number and was advised they cant give their contact details and will not give me details of the case manager. Now this case manager closed my case without any investigation to input. I asked for an outcome vi and email and was advised Samsnung doesn’t emails customer and you get nothing in writing. What a class leading way to deal with customers? All Samsung needs is our cash and then it’s good bye.
I was advised that this is how Samsung deals with complaints, they call customer once and no matter what close the case and the customer can never ask for a review or speak with the case manager.
It appears the offshore call centre is designed so Australian Samsung customer can never contact their local call centre. Its a multibillion $ company that has no intention to assist customers. Shameful behaviour by Samsung Australia. I also mentioned Australian Consumer law and they couldn't careless.

below 20Hz fresh air, but it's also beautiful to look at with it's copper spun cerametallic driver, hidden screws.
This 10" sub with it's 19Hz frequency response (-3dB) will blow you away. You will hear sound effects in movies you have never heard (felt) before, notes (think of the 32 step organ for example) in your favorite music you never heard before. It's unlike most other out there unless you fork out significantly more money.
Having said that I was comparing this with the larger 12" SVS PB1000 PRO which might be the only contestant with similar performance and a slightly lower price tag, but without the refined looks and different approach.
Pros: -Refined, beautiful to look at -True cinematic experience
Cons: -Port noise at high excursion

JBL Soundbar 1000: Elevate Your Home Theater Experience – The JBL Soundbar 1000 is an impressive audio system that brings the theater experience right into your home. With its Dolby Atmos capability,… Read more
wireless detachable rear speakers, and a powerful subwoofer, this soundbar offers a comprehensive and immersive audio setup that is worth every dollar.
One of the standout features of the JBL Soundbar 1000 is its Dolby Atmos capability. Dolby Atmos technology creates a three-dimensional sound experience by placing sounds in specific locations around the listener, including overhead. This feature adds a new dimension to your audio, making you feel like you're right in the middle of the action. Whether you're watching movies, playing games, or listening to music, the Dolby Atmos capability of the JBL Soundbar 1000 delivers exceptional audio quality.
The unique wireless detachable rear speakers are another notable feature of this soundbar. These speakers can be separated from the main bar and placed around the room, providing true surround sound. When not in use, the speakers conveniently charge in the main bar, eliminating the need for separate charging stations or cables. This wireless setup not only enhances the audio experience but also simplifies the overall setup process.
The subwoofer included with the JBL Soundbar 1000 is a beast in terms of size and performance. With a size comparable to a mini fridge, this subwoofer delivers deep, rumbling bass that adds a whole new level of intensity to your audio. Whether it's explosions in movies or the thumping beats in music, the subwoofer ensures that you feel the low-depth sounds, making your home theater experience truly immersive.
In terms of setup, the JBL Soundbar 1000 shines as it offers a hassle-free installation process. With its wireless rear speakers and a single main bar, you don't have to deal with complex wiring or multiple components. The soundbar is designed to seamlessly integrate with your home TV, providing a simple and straightforward audio solution.
Overall, the JBL Soundbar 1000 is a premium audio system that delivers exceptional sound quality and an immersive theater experience. The Dolby Atmos capability, unique wireless detachable rear speakers, and powerful subwoofer all contribute to its impressive performance. If you're looking to upgrade your home audio setup and want sound that matches the quality of your TV, the JBL Soundbar 1000 is definitely worth considering.

front firing driver, this little subwoofer is clean and smooth and its flat frequency response makes it ideally suited for small studio or lounge room to fill out the bottom end missing in virtually all compact speaker systems, either in a studio or home.
I bought this item online from one of two Melbourne music stores that sell the Fluid Audio range in Australia. I was a little apprehensive about spending $400 on an unseen item, but a quick check on the internet turned up a pro review that immediately hinted I would be buying something worth the outlay. And it certainly is!
The subwoofer arrived ahead of time in a double layer cardboard carton snugly fitted inside another, heavier double layer cardboard carton. The unit was isolated from the inner carton by polystyrene corner packing blocks that allowed me to see and remove the sub from the inner box without getting my hands anywhere near the unprotected driver cone.
The stylish cabinetwork is classy and the driver is not covered with a grille, giving it an ‘uncaged’ look. The little fader on the front panel also makes this unit somewhat different from other subs that have all their controls either on the back or top of the cabinet. The front panel also houses the reflex vent, which is always the preferred location to assist with placement options.
The back panel amp has separate input and output sections, each with balanced XLR connectors and balanced or unbalanced 6.25mm TRS phono connectors. The input section also has low level RCA inputs, while the output section has a T&S phono connector for the included foot-switch to bypass the unit. There are rotary pots for adjusting crossover frequency and varying the phase adjustment (nice!) and there is a switch for ‘Flat’ response for critical monitoring or ‘Punchy’ for dance music. If you plan to use it as a reference speaker, leave the switch in the ‘Flat’ position (see photo).
Initial listening tests were impressive. A quick tweak of the crossover to match it with my tiny, but modified, Realistic Minimus 7 desktop computer speakers and some level adjustment so that the sub was just noticeable, left me convinced I’d bought the right subwoofer for my needs. Once the driver had bedded in, it was even better – the designers have done a great job delivering a smooth but tight sound, with nicely balanced frequency response displaying hardly any noticeable dips or peaks - and all down to about 30Hz.
I really like the foot-switch for bypassing the sub to check its contribution to a mix or to what you're hearing from your stereo. What I'm not so keen on is the lack of a grille. Let's face it, most little subs will end up under a desk of some sort, so having the option of protecting your investment makes sense to me. I think Fluid Audio need to add that to this otherwise perfect little studio quality subwoofer.
If you need something other than earthquake effects specifically to annoy the neighbours, and where space is also a consideration, there's nothing else I could find to compete with this for the same price.

issue was to add a soundbar. So I started looking around to find a decent soundbar that has quality and value for money on a low budget. My only criteria in choosing one had to be that it was either 2.1 or 3.1 setup; I didn't need or want the surround speakers for my situation, and also the sub must be wireless. As the Samsung C450 fit that criteria I bought it on a whim without seeing or hearing it in person. It was a brand new release at the time of purchase and I bought it online via a big box retailer. I click and collected it in store and took it home to set it up. I initially set it up via Bluetooth with my different branded TV. It worked well via Bluetooth but each time I turned the TV off and then back on, Bluetooth wouldn't reconnect. This became annoying so I connected the soundbar via the supplied optical cable. Now every single time I turn the TV on, the soundbar powers up and lip syncing is perfect. Never had an issue since. The sound quality surpassed my expectations of a budget friendly soundbar setup. This unit is loud and clear at all volumes. I've only taken it to 75% loudness as this volume is way more than required for my 14 square metre bedroom where the soundbar is located. Whether the source being played is music, vocal dialogue, action movies, or even sound response from the TV menu, all sound is so clear, precise, and impactful when it is supposed to be. The wireless sub goes deep and never has an issue with connection or syncing. I was so impressed that I bought another identical soundbar for a second bedroom that has a Samsung CU8000 series TV. Once again I initially connected it via Bluetooth. But this time the Bluetooth works perfectly and always connects as soon as the TV is switched on. I keep the Samsung TV connected to this soundbar by Bluetooth only as it just works. But with either TV connected by optical or Bluetooth, the sound appears identical and remarkable for this model soundbar. Whilst there is no HDMI input, that feature does not affect me for my situation. The included remote is only really necessary to adjust the sound during first use to pick a sound mode to your liking and adjust the treble and bass and subwoofer level. After that, the volume is really controlled by the TV remote, or you can use physical buttons on top of the soundbar if you choose to. To say I'm impressed is a massive understatement. I'll buy this exact same model again if I need another soundbar in the near future. As for the living room, I'll choose an even bigger bar and consider the surround speakers.

(-3dB) and the app configurability, get ready for sound that you normally only experience when you go to an actual cinema. The SVS smartphone app lets you adjust a number of settings which you don't normally get with subs from the listening position. Equalizer, room correction, phase, polarity, presets, volume etc... which help you tune the SVS to the room acoustics and personal preferences. Bring the room alive make it breathe and be blown away.
I had my fair share of subwoofers in my lifetime. For comparison the latest was an older 12" Polk Audio. While the Polk Audio most certainly packs a punch and you will feel explosions, it just doesn't have the low frequency extension to give you the true cinematic experience. Having said that, if you look at current subwoofers at the around AU$1500-2500 price most of them go down to only 28-25 Hz. And when you talk about frequencies around 20Hz, every Hz makes a big difference in the listener experience. Listening to Cincinatti Pops Orchestra, Back to the future soundtrack, Hans Zimmer, Interstellar, STAY track for example highlights the capability of this SVS Sub. SVS originally made only and specialized in subwoofers. So if in the past you only had your typical Sony, Yamaha, Sonos, Bose, KEF, etc... subwoofers try the SVS and be amazed. When I did the frequency sweep test, the SVS was audible from 16Hz. At the same volume the Polk Audio was audible from 25 Hz. That's the difference between room shaking and room breathing bass.
There are actually two other brands I'm aware of that deliver similar performance in the price range, the slightly smaller 10" but more expensive Klipsch RP-1000 which I compared myself, and the Tonewinner SW-1000 which is also 12", slightly cheaper but reading the reviews, support seems to be patchy.
It's also worth to note that on the other hand SVS provides outsanding support all the way from the manufacturer in the US through the importer in Australia (Interdyn Brands) and the biggest retailer West Coast Hifi. As I found out communication is great between the links of the supply chain.

sight with the soundbar otherwise the sound stuttered & cut out. if someone walked between the phone & YAS-209 the sound would stutter & cut out. i am comparing the bluetooth range of the YAS-209 to a pair of Jabra elite 65t earbuds & a UE megaboom speaker. when streaming music to the Jabra elite 65t the phone could be in 1 room & I could walk around the house going into other rooms without losing signal. obviously I lost signal if I ventured too far away. ditto for the UE megaboom. both the Jabra elite 65t & UE megaboom speaker trounced the Yamaha YAS-209 soundbar with regard to bluetooth range. the remote control for the YAS-209 is underwhelming. it was faster to use the app to adjust settings than using the remote. i thought I could live without a display for volume & sound profiles but a display is great as a reference point for volume & sound profiles. I returned the YAS-209 to Amazon for a full refund. due to the lack of display, the dinky remote & absolutely woeful bluetooth range I would definitely not recommended the Yamaha YAS-209 soundbar.

speakers, and Audio Technica turntable. As good as the sound was, just need that little bit more bass fill without overpowering it. The NS-SW050 50-watt 20cm Yamaha sub looked like it would fit the bill nicely – I also did not want to pay hundreds of dollars for a big sub, so finding the sweet spot was the challenge and this woofer did the job.
The overall dimensions of 291mmx292mmx341mm make it compact and it sits discretely next to the cabinet at the rear and is not intrusive. Key features of the design are the 20cm driver is mounted on the front of the cabinet and disperse sound forwards, and a side firing, twisted flare port on the right side of the unit which is designed to help produce tight clear bass by smoothing the airflow and removing extraneous noise (according to Yamaha)
My real-world experience after firing the woofer up is that it filled the “gap” nicely on my sound system and has certainly enhanced the bottom end bass experience without overblowing the sound, though it will distort a bit if you put the volume too high – the controls on the woofer are basic, on off bottom and volume control. The woofer is rated at 28-200Hz and I have set the amplifier at 120HZ which seems to work well enough. The woofer is connected by 1 std. RCA input directly from the sub-woofer output on the amplifier. The output is 100w dynamic power, 50w output power, 100HZ, 5 ohm, 10% THD.
All in all, happy with this sub-woofer – It is not going to run a very big home theatre system, its horses for course and as an enhancement to a bookshelf speaker system is very good, fit for the job. Its also not heavy, 8.5kg
If you want to buy one of these, recommend you shop around, the price varies considerably.
PROS: Compact sub, good for bookshelf system to enhance bass; Good build quality like most Yamaha equipment; Simple to use, only has volume control and no complicated adjustments; Front firing sub - easy to place near a wall for space saving Good quality at this price point
CONS: Only has volume control, no input frequency adjustment or any other adjustments No remote control to turn on/off if behind cabinet (added arlec remote control power adapter)
