This Dishwasher cleaned well intially, but was quite loud. Less than a year in, began tripping the power, after over $700 of electrical visits and… Read more

repairs, and 4 service visits that could find no fault, F&P (parent company) agreed to replace, Suprise Suprise new machine in place and no more power trips! Costly expense and money that we did not have, as well as months and months without a dishwasher while it was away getting checked! Replacement Haier has also had to be returned faulty after only less than a week of use! Will never buy Haier or FP again!

cycle, it plays a calm tune to let you know that the load has finished. The cutlery drawer at the top is great because it cleans them well. The colour (black) is a matt colour & fits in well with our other kitchen goods.

This Dishwasher looked good in black and seemed great value. It worked okay for the first 2 years and 9 months then the drain wouldn't turn off. It… Read more

was still under the 3 year warranty so assumed it would be fixed or replaced. Unfortunately the warranty was a waste of time as the retailer we bought it from said we had to agree to pay almost $200 if they decide it is 'our fault'. I was not willing to agree to this so they would not help us. The dishwasher was taken away for scrap after getting no where with the warranty. Personally, I would never buy another Haier product again, they are cheap for a reason. Poor man pays twice in this case.

Our baseline haier dishwasher hdw100wct sprung a leak after 13 years. Hummed and hawed over replacement in the $900 to $1200 range and all were a… Read more

compromise. Stumbled on the HDW15F4S1 on sale $1999 down to $1457. But wait - it also has a $200 cashback. So it fitted on price.. A wee bit fiddly to install as they now have included a hose that cannot be detached from the dishwasher and has a large anti flood device that must pass through the relevant holes. Took a bit of time, but we did get a confirmation that the washer could be attached to the household hot water tank. Whats in it? Good updated prongy bits that can be folded down to suit and a much nicer set of glassware holders A cutlery basket that can fit anywhere but is a bit cumbersome. The hallowed draw at the top for cutlery. The filter is easy to remove and lock back. Heaps of different wash programmes. Connects to Haiers smart app. And yes it will open the door when the cycle is finished The compromise. We always rinse out dishes and normally use the fastest programme. Our old one would wash in about 15 minutes. This new washer takes some 4 hours on ECO! THe next fastest take 60 minutes. Like the Samsung washing machine the dishwasher manual wont say how many pre wash and rinses go on with the programmes. Information is sparse siting an automatic system that decides for you. I do not like it. The soap dispenser is always wet and needs to be dried before putting powder in. Seems that the only way rinse aid can be adjusted is through the App, but when its done its done. We are happy with its performance on the 60 minute cycle and have not needed to do a different wash We wash at night when power is cheaper and the machine will send you a message at past midnight when its done - switch the messaging off through the App We needed our old cutlery basket for all those non cutlery items - and in the end we thought bugger it lets put all the cutlery in as before. Are we happy with it?:- Yes it does the job and things other than plastics and the tops of cups are pretty dry. Our old one was $324, 13 years ago and the new one NZ$1257. But it does open it door automatically. and we thought best of the bunch at the final price. A MONTH OR TWO DOWN THE TRACK We have got to know the dishwasher better now. We still only use the 60 minute programme which works very well for us. We still use our old cutlery basket, but wait there's more:- The cutlery tray, we have found to be superbe for the longer knives, whisks and flippers various lids This means that the cutlery basket is just used for cutlery - (fork handles down prongs up) and the odd sized items are safely in the top draw. Haier seem to have played with the filter - it is much better to lock on and off and it seems to shoo out more rubbish out of the machine. We found very little to clean out after 4 weeks - mind you we do rinse the dishes first. We load it and set the delay for 11pm when the power rates change, we never hear it in operation and the next morning the door is open and everything is pretty much dry. Have to say the we bought the right one. The 2 year warranty is welcomed and we are very happy with it.

Been using this product for the last 3 months now, and can confidently say it’s the worst dishwasher I’ve ever used. It’s very loud, and for all… Read more

that noise it struggles to clean anything other than glasses and dishes. If you can clean the item by holding it under a running tap, then the dishwasher performs brilliantly, anything else it seems like it just bakes the dirt into the dish… I regret replacing my old faulty dishwasher with this… might as well just wash by hand

Picking a new dishwasher should have been fun, right? Wrong. Too many options and big price tags. That’s why you’re here, right? I get it. Well lucky… Read more

for you I’ve already tried out this dishwasher, so you don’t have to take a chance on a lemon (it’s not, phew). I just wanted a machine that would wash well and dry reasonably well. I had been spoiled before with another brand twin-drawer which I loved, and nothing was going to compare (in my price range), so I didn’t have high expectations. But, to my surprise (you will see I have a history of buying useless toasters)… the Haier is good. So far (over 2 months) it has performed surprisingly well and I didn’t spend my children’s (entire) inheritance to own it. I’ve tried auto and heavy washes, both with fab results using a squishy tablet. Have learned that if you stack bowls in the smaller rungs that they’re a bit too close together to get a really thorough blast, so if they’re especially gross, send them to the back like naughty children and they will be cleansed of their sins. Nice and fairly straight-forward electric control panel. I like that you can do more adjustments like adding “extra dry” to the cycle, which leaves most stuff very dry. Not perfect on plastic (well, duh, nothing is), but *almost* as good as the aforementioned twin drawer. Yes, I know, shoosh, we aren’t here to talk about that one. The cutlery basket can slide across into different positions which I’ve found convenient when loading large, awkward stuff (looking at you, air fryer). And once, I did actually bother to lower the height of the top rack. Holy moly, you can stand even the tallest drink bottle when you do that! Actually, the internal height in this thing is pretty awesome. Even on the higher setting, I can put a long stemmed wineglass on a small tilt just fine and it will sparkle. And I can put large plastic cutting mats in the bottom without them causing a spinny-arm-thingy drama. And as for noise, if you’re sitting nearby and it finishes you will jump at the loud beeping, because you didn’t hear the dishwasher going beforehand. Really, that happened to me. Maybe only me, and not every other person who owns this dishwasher, but it did happen. And of course, it looks kinda pretty with its ‘satina’ finish. So that’s a thing. Yeah, thumbs up.
