It works good but it falls apart after a year! – Work’s really good makes hair soft shiny. But after a year it falls apart and I’m sorry for what you pay for this is not worth the cost. Very upset that they won’t make them better. Show details

It’s great – You will need to brush your hair 1st, if you were to just use this without any products before hand it will dry your hair out! However Gariner… Read more

Fructis Miraculous oil brushing express applied before using makes an extremely huge difference, my hair can go straw dry, as a result it goes frizzy and dull,

If you put the above product in 1st before straightening you will get very nice reasonable straight hair,

So once you have brushed hair out, applied the oil, this will help extremely! Even if you are like me and have straw dry hair! I have actually had straw like hair and actually been able to get my hair horribly oily from applying to much oil before straightening,

I have found using this to be a lot easier then a traditional thong straightener/flat iron, I am careful where I place my hand because of the controls, mine I actually have to push in a bit to get it to respond, so have not accidentally modified the temperature during use

The plates of the straightener do get dirty though, never had this with a traditional thong/flat iron, I don’t place this iron close to my scalp, my hair doesn’t seem to need it at scalp, but you can still burn yourself easily

When the plates are dirty or hair gets stuck on the plates the iron does steam/smoke (burnt hair like) wait until iron has cooled down before removing stuck hair

Not designed for towel dry hair, must be about 95% dry before using

When the straightener is on, it isn’t that easy to “tell” which parts are hot and which aren’t, so be careful around children or vision impaired people

Be careful where to place the straightener when warming up, heat proof Matt or something underneath is recommended

Would absolutely burn carpet or anything like that if it came in contact, even when initially cooling down
