Brand new unit faulty within days of install – Poor service, waiting weeks and still unresolved. Posted review on Electrolux website, but they removed. Don’t seem to take customer service… Read more

seriously, send you to a repair person, not in house (here in New Zealand). Have to wait on parts, no offer of a replacement etc. Given this is a brand new product, service is very low.

Powerful, responsive and beautiful cooktop – Having always used gas cooking I was very sceptical about transitioning to an induction cooktop. Now that we have made the change, I would never go… Read more

back! This 90cm Electrolux induction cooktop has changed the way we cook, and makes prepping meals a breeze. It’s easy to use, with the touch pad controls sitting at the front in the centre of the unit. There are five separate heat pads, or you can turn the two on the left into one large section for a skillet or big wok. Heat is instant, and similarly turning the heat off immediately stops the frying/boiling. The cooktop also has a timer to set it to finish cooking, perfect for absorption method when cooking rice. It also features a child safe lock so that little fingers can’t turn it on accidentally. But the best feature of all is the non stick surface. Because the heat is in the cookware not on the surface, when I have a spill or my pot boils over, I can just remove the saucepan and wipe it clean immediately! The only consideration we have had to keep front of mind with induction is that you can’t slide saucepans or frypans along from one burner to the next as you may scratch the surface, and obviously being glass you do need to be mindful of how gently you throw down your pots and pans when getting ready to cook.

Purchased Electrolux induction cooktop After breaking the glass top of a slightly small model 600mm, and then the internal thermometer became faulty,… Read more

I got a quote to fix it, but it wasn’t worth the cost, unfortunately. Lasting 4 years. We love the cook top and the instant heat. Admittedly you need to slightly change your cooking style with the rapid heat but we like the functions. Being slightly larger than the 600 I feel like it has more options with fitting all the pans on the surface. It doesn’t scratch, easily to clean. Recommended the cooktop.

After only 5 years from new two of the five induction pads have faulted (E8), and now won’t clear despite following the instructions to switch off… Read more

power for “a while”, (I gave it an hour). The E8 error code had been coming on and off randomly for the past year or so leading up to this. Out warranty now so either repair or replace. Not good enough considering how much they cost to buy and only 24months warranty.
