burners to chose to cook on. Love the flame failure safety feature. It's good to know that if the flame goes out the gas automatically shuts down. The cast rivets are stylish and solid. Cooktop is easy to clean. Cooktop looks great with the Electrolux 90cm pyro oven.

seriously, send you to a repair person, not in house (here in New Zealand). Have to wait on parts, no offer of a replacement etc. Given this is a brand new product, service is very low.

whole cooktop was destroyed.

I have had to buy a new one as because I did it, it's not under warranty. I would have thought a cooktop like this would have been built stronger. Got myself a stainless steel cooktop - has not missed a beat!

fast heat up function it may not heat up for 30 minutes. Temperatures are best selected with fingers crossed as who knows what you will get. There has been some repairs done on this with the lock function being adjusted and screws tightened but I still cannot believe the erratic functioning of this cooktop. Frequently turns itself off after a drop of water or something brushing the function buttons. I have noticed a hot pot lid placed on an off hob will turn the hob on???????. 29/01/2022 full receipts available $799.oo Harvey Norman.

After looking on product review and only finding bad reviews about most cook tops I wanted to say this. I Love this cook top. Have only had for a few… Read more

months but it’s so beautiful it’s a joy to cook with. Very elegant it’s like an art piece and easy to clean with some glass cleaner. The inner bits don’t get food in them for some reason. Not like my old stove where food would get in all the time. Fantastic flames and very adjustable with options on the wok burner to go down to only inner small ring. With an extra large ring is great for woks and large pots. Very happy with my choice

Powerful, responsive and beautiful cooktop – Having always used gas cooking I was very sceptical about transitioning to an induction cooktop. Now that we have made the change, I would never go… Read more

back! This 90cm Electrolux induction cooktop has changed the way we cook, and makes prepping meals a breeze. It’s easy to use, with the touch pad controls sitting at the front in the centre of the unit. There are five separate heat pads, or you can turn the two on the left into one large section for a skillet or big wok. Heat is instant, and similarly turning the heat off immediately stops the frying/boiling. The cooktop also has a timer to set it to finish cooking, perfect for absorption method when cooking rice. It also features a child safe lock so that little fingers can’t turn it on accidentally. But the best feature of all is the non stick surface. Because the heat is in the cookware not on the surface, when I have a spill or my pot boils over, I can just remove the saucepan and wipe it clean immediately! The only consideration we have had to keep front of mind with induction is that you can’t slide saucepans or frypans along from one burner to the next as you may scratch the surface, and obviously being glass you do need to be mindful of how gently you throw down your pots and pans when getting ready to cook.

Purchased Electrolux induction cooktop After breaking the glass top of a slightly small model 600mm, and then the internal thermometer became faulty,… Read more

I got a quote to fix it, but it wasn’t worth the cost, unfortunately. Lasting 4 years. We love the cook top and the instant heat. Admittedly you need to slightly change your cooking style with the rapid heat but we like the functions. Being slightly larger than the 600 I feel like it has more options with fitting all the pans on the surface. It doesn’t scratch, easily to clean. Recommended the cooktop.

Decent cooktop but Electrolux has very good service – Last year (2022), while building our home, we selected a 9000mm Westinghouse 5 burner gas cooktop for our kitchen. However, the Westinghouse cooktop… Read more

was being recalled for faulty issues, so our builder substituted our preferred model with an Electrolux 900 5 burner gas cooktop, product code EHG955BE, which boasts slightly superior specifications to the Westinghouse model we had initially chosen.

I am fond of this stove for its numerous features. First and foremost is the clean design, it's aesthetically appealing. Secondly, being Asian, I frequently prepare stir-fries and noodle dishes with soup, so the large standalone cooktop is ideal for these meals. I appreciate that it is a standalone hob with three rings of flame, allowing for multiple heat levels. My wok is quite large since I often cook in bulk, and I need to use a VERY large pot when making broths for my noodle dishes, the extra space of this stove from the other allows the placement of a large work or pot without invading any pot space of the neighboring stoves. What I also like about this standalone stove is that for stir-fry dishes and noodle soups is that I require a very powerful flame to quickly bring the broth to a high temperature. This intense heat is also essential for creating good stir-fries. However, once the broth reaches boiling point, I need a lower heat to simmer, and the smallest flame ring is perfect for this, without me having to move the pot full of soup over to the smallest hob to simmer.

Another aspect I value is the glass cooktop. I specifically chose a cooktop with a glass bench for the ease of cleaning- grease doesn't adhere tightly to the surface. Another feature that I like about this cooktop is that the hobs are designed to be easily removed for cleaning and just as easily replaced.

I would give it one star less because, after eight months of use, one of the stove's spark plugs failed, preventing us from turning it on. Nevertheless, Electrolux's customer service impressed me with their promptness in arranging for a technician to repair the issue at our home.

I had to contact customer service again when I noticed that the knob for the same burner with the faulty spark plug was loose. Electrolux once again promptly arranged for the same technician to address the problem, suggesting that he would remember his previous work in case something was amiss. It turned out to be a common issue where the ring that should be on the male part of the connection point had become lodged in the female part.
