Was recommended this as a cheap dupe Republica. It is definitely not. Almost undrinkable. I guess I have to go back to Republica despite how… Read more

expensive it is now. Will keep trying other brands to see if there's any hope out there for those of us who are cash-strapped. Oh, and it's also $8.

Bland taste. Very disappointing instant coffee. Two stars only because I was feeling generous – Bland taste. A total disappointment. One of the worst instant coffees that I have ever tried. Think Pablo quality. Perhaps comparable to dishwater which I have not yet tasted, fortunately. Show details

Weak tastelesss coffee with no character - Just dont bother unless you like weak tasteless coffee – You start with any new coffee you try by opening the lid and smelling the aroma of the coffee. This coffee does NOT have any distinct aroma. It… Read more

doesnt even smell like coffee. In fact it smells "sweet" more like brown sugar. It also fails the taste test. Very weak with No flavour. No bite. Nothing. Characterless. Anyone looking to try this Coles Instant coffee as a cheap substitute should consider Aldi's Alcafe Aroma Classic Instant coffee instead for the same price. It has everything that this Coles Coffee doesn't have.

The taste of freedom (from coffee snobbery) – It tastes like the angry tears of Melbourne baristas indignation and, too me, that tastes great. It costs as close to nothing as is possible which… Read more

after $4.50/$4.70 for the soy flat whites I was drinking could not make me and my taste buds happier.

Recipe -

2 tsp Coffee

1 tsp Sugar

1/4 cup of Milk

1 tsp Cream

Hot water.

(add the milk before the water and stir)

Enjoy with friends holding the mug in both hands while some pan pipe music plays in the background. Cheap, plentiful, in my cupboard and is lacking even the faintest whiff of pretension. Doubt it's fair trade approved. Also has some serious food miles (Comes from Germany form further imported ingredients)
