Great product – Great product. The balance is perfect. Love their quality control. Almost none of those annoying hard bits that everyone else gets in their popcorn that break your teeth.love it so much. Show details

Truly disgusting flavour now that they've switched to this potato powder recipe. You might see these as a cheap alternative to Pringles, but STAY AWAY. They're ultra processed RECONSTITUTED potato chips. I miss the delicious old recipe :( Show details

It's nice and buttery, the bits that actually pop, but last few months of buying it, only half pops and if u try more time it ends up burnt. Not sure what they have done to it, but wouldn't recommend it to anyone at this stage. Show details

Have changed for the worse – I try to maintain a healthy diet, however in the last few months the quality of Coles unsalted nuts has declined. At first, I thought I just got 1 bad batch...tried again 2 more times. I wont be buying this brand again...Horrible burned/stale taste. Show details

and light Sunday evening dinner and we haven't been disappointed by the quality and taste of either. Our only question of Coles though seems to be the size of the product itself. We are both convinced that the first one we purchased was a kilo in size whereas today's version was only 700 grams yet the same $15 price as the first one bought about 3 weeks ago. It didn't stop us enjoying our dinner of course but I do feel we should be asking Coles if we are right about them swapping sizes (as has been happening often with Coles and Woolworths of late) sneakily without informing customers of the change they've made and their reasoning for doing so (besides the obvious money-making one ).

Best sweet potato chips: Coles generic – These sweet potato chips are superior to the other brands I've tried. They've got a very light tempura type coating that gives a superior crispy outside. Other brands don't crisp up in the oven.

Favourite lunch snacks – Since my husband has been ill these products have been his favourite lunch. We tried other brands but the Coles brand comes top of the list. I have to make sure they are on the shopping list

is just right and I enjoy the taste more than the more costly brands. I wouldn't dare come home from my weekly shopping without a packet!! And most importantly they haven't reduced the size of packet!

A disappointment – Bought a pack and was disappointed with the very low quality. Waited a few months and purchased another to give them another chance. Never again. Stale, undersized, not salted properly, with many tasting 'off'. Save your money. Show details

I agree with the other person who rated it a 1. When I tried these in the past they were Not Australian peanuts and were just total rubbish and… Read more

tasted as such. I just bought a pack yesterday ( 8 Sepot 2025 ) that specifically had the words Australian Peanuts on the pack. Thought I would try. Very nice. They are tasty, a nice crunch but at the same time a bit softish, and nicely salted. So many times salted nuts have no salt. There's a good amount on these so overall really enjoyable. I don't think they are Kingaroy peanuts based on the shape and size, but still nice for sure. Just make sure the pack says Australian Peanuts.

Coles muesli bars – I bought these as they were so cheap. They are not as tasty as other brands - I think they should have more flavour. Overall, I would rate them as… Read more

average. They have a good chewy texture and I would buy them again as they are nearly half the price of similar products. Inexpensive Need more flavour

great snack – I don't think any plain rice crackers have a huge amount of flavour. Why I always choose these is because of the low sodium content. I have spent… Read more

some time comparing, and Cole's plain (thick) rice crackers are very low in salt. I put all sorts of toppings on, and really enjoy them. low salt, price

Used to be 5 stars – Potato chips were off the menu for decades until I discovered Coles Home Brand plain crinkle cut chips 4 months ago- heaven - so oily and salty -… Read more

5 stars for sure. If I am going to eat something bad I want it to be wicked. Imagine my disappointment when I bought them recently- so crunchy and over-cooked- now only 1 star - guess I am back to my chip free diet. ( please bring back those crisps that made me fall off the wagon)

Just as good as Sanitarium Weet-Bix – I started eating Sanitarium Hi-Bran Weet-Bix 30 odd years ago, which I really enjoyed. Unfortunately, Sanitarium in their “wisdom” have decided to… Read more

discontinue Hi-Bran Weet-Bix. I tried their other varieties but I really didn't like them. I went back to good old fashioned basic Weet-Bix but I have decided that Coles wheat biscuits are just as good although nothing like as good as the Sanitarium Hi-Bran Weet-Bix. At least I am saving money compared to any of the Sanitarium products.

I've been waiting for Coles to make Bombay Mix after their venture into other savoury mixes and was excited to see it! While it is tasty, it has… Read more

fallen short of the original snack many of us known from the 1980s due to missing one integral ingtedient that made it such a massive hit: Curry Powder (typically, Keen's Curry Powder)..

Their mix contains the usual: roasted peanut, dehydrated peas, fried noodles, sultanas (albeit very sparse), chilli powder (unappetizingly mild), and the addition of soy crisps. What spices are used - vaguely listed as "bombay seasoning" and chilli powder - leave no truly fond impressions. Certainly not palatably insulting, but also not complimentary to anything.

The spice that makes Bombay Mix, "Bombay Mix", is the generic curry powder for the heat and the definitive savoury flavour and kick of present but not overwhelming heat. Adding to this: the sparsity of sultanas. Sparse enough to have me wonder if they were even included.

All in all, this is an "okay" mix, but it falls short of the original. I hope Coles updates the recipe to include the curry powder at the very least.

This is good enough and you can live with it – This tastes like the lighter version of Doritos. CCs had little more flavour and harder to crunch some people might not like that. This is good enough and you can live with it. But if you are used to Doritos, I think you should stick with it.

use a sharp knife. The biscuits themselves are very thin so 95% are already broken or break in two when you bite them. Won't be buying them again.

on, taste like cardboard. If you want something that you can actually taste, I suggest the Woolies home brand or one of the other name brands. The Coles ones are not great at all and I won't be buying them again.

These almonds have a bizarre mix of flavours. It has a fake smoke flavour, which is sweet, but also a bitter after taste which completely disguises… Read more

the natural flavour of the almond. It just tastes like the powder coating. Obviously these almonds are heavily covered in salt and flavouring rather than actually real smoked almonds and there are a number of products out there that has 'smoke flavour', but this one tastes more like the snack food Burger Rings. The ingredients list seems to indicate why there may be a clash of flavours - Almonds (88%), Sugar, Corn Starch, Onion Powder, Salt, Maltodextrin, Soy Sauce Powder [Maltodextrin, Salt, Water, Defatted Soybeans, Wheat], Smoke Flavour, Yeast Extract, Natural Flavour, Pepper. These nuts are packed in Vietnam from an unknown source.

An insult to the tastebuds – Coles Original Crinkle Cut Potato Chips have an oily, stale taste; I tried to persevere but by the third chip I had to bin the entire packet and had to eat something else to erase the taste.

the ingredients have changed. I guess if you buy these crackers you will have already notice. Funny this product didn't go up by 50 cents as most of Coles product has and more. I guess you can make easier profit by just lowering the quality of ingredients. Still have Candian product displayed online but this is not the product on the shelves.
