Rum and raisin, more accurate to say rum and rarely a raisin. Lucky to be more than a dozen in the 1 litre tub. Rip off. Show details

Not available – I always used to buy 4 to 5 tubs of Weis Sorbet but, i was told a while back that Weis Sorbet was deleted from the coles range, even though coles… Read more

still continues to carry the Weis range of ice cream. When i was told that the Weis Sorbet was no longer available, i asked the store if they had another brand or eventually getting another brand. I continually keep looking at the ice cream freezer in case a see a new brand of lemon sorbert. Currently, I haven’t seen the coles sorbet in the freezer. Please confirm what’s happening? Is it been sold in every store or selective coles stores.

Ideal generic ice cream for people on tight budgets but still want flavour – After trying the 'Smart Buy' Neapolitan ice cream (2 litre because the only 4 litre they had of this was Vanilla - out of stock of Neapolitan at the… Read more

time and I wanted more than just 1 flavour) I found it not too bad. Either way, whichever size tub you buy, this brand is cheaper than leading brands of ice cream today (why pay extra for a rich sweet taste that this generic can offer at less than that as well as a fancy brand name?) The chocolate flavour in the Neapolitan is not too rich, but still has a smooth creamy taste, as does the strawberry flavour.

Since I am not a fussy eater when it comes to products such as this, I feel a tub of Smart Buy ice cream (any size) will do nicely in my freezer. If it came in 5 litre buckets (which my local Coles does have, but not of this brand, and of course is more expensive) I would consider one, but I am content with their 2 and 4 litre tub varieties. Great taste, not too heavy on the wallet, and if you have kids who like ice cream and don't care what brand it is, this is for them too.

Recommended for people with a sweet tooth on a budget. Good value for the money, and not bland-tasting. Would definitely buy a tub of Coles Smart Buy ice cream again. 5/5 Tastes great, value for money, ideal for the whole family, and you are not paying for a fancy brand name. None. I like ice cream in general, regardless of flavour or brand name.

Absolutely delicious – Delicious without being over rich. Every now and then you get a hit of caramel. Am not vegan but enjoyed this much more than any regular icecream. On… Read more

clearance though, why do you often seen to discontinue your best products? Just promote them more. Never dreamed I would bother reviewing a desert so threw docket and can’t verify.

Wife's Choice – Great taste at right price. This ice cream has rich and creamy taste in a convenient container size. It is similar in quality to many of the premium priced ice treats. Show details

These are a serious bargain, something you may not know, half the Carb's of most any other (read the label). These are a great snack, great price… Read more

(can't find better) and great to share as a group or for the grankiddies. The size is small, but I think it is part of the appeal, very practical for the very young. I would take a photo, but they all gone! my bad...

Yuck! – This does not taste anything like ice cream, just really sweet yuckiness. No flavour at all. It's just awful, cheap rubbish. Will never buy again Show details

this stuff is rubbish – For years, I bought the Coles brand vanilla ice cream in a blue tub because it was a nice rich creamy ice cream but recently I went to purchase it… Read more

and it had disappeared...a white flat tub going by the same name was in it's place, and I'm telling you it's the worst ice cream, if you could call it that I have ever tasted, watery, icy & sugar laden. If I could give no stars I would.

Absolutely delicious! I am so impressed at the whole range actually. They taste so much better than some of the other high class ice cream. Almost like you just got it from an actual ice cream shop. Show details

This is rubbish. May as well be paint. By contrast, the 'home brand' stuff from their direct competition is quite nice. I can't say Coles Rum n Raisen is much better. Tastes mostly of sugar. Show details

Made in Indonesia – Tastes awful and made in Indonesia. No longer an Australian product. Really Coles? Never buying this again. Show details

These used to be good but since production has moved to Indonesia, they are awful. The taste is very watery, kind of like "fake ice cream". Just… Read more

looking at the ingredients list shows that whole milk is not used, but rather skim milk powder. In fact, the ingredients list (which always lists ingredients from most to least) has water as the first ingredient. I am never buying this again, no matter how cheap it becomes.

Lacked Flavour, Made overseas – I purchase a box of Coles Icy Pops Raspberry Lemon & Cola | 495mL from coles for around $4. At first they seemed like good value for money but when I… Read more

ate them they lacked flavour. The packaging on the box showed the lemonade icy pop to be blue but in reality it was white. I was also disappointed to see that these Icy Pops were made all the way in Indonesia. That’s a lot of burnt carbon for a little bit of frozen water and sugar.

Horrible Magnum copy from Coles – Don't expect a Magnum copy. These are horrible, do yourself a favour and just spend less money on the Utopia product from Aldi. Branding of ice… Read more

cream must meet a certain cream percent. Many premium ice cream products don't meet this criteria and hence the absence of the ice cream wording, but what they offer is still quite decent. Same can't be said for this Coles product. Coles actually calls it ice cream but I would challenge them to prove it. It tasted rough, weak and icy and nothing like a decent ice cream. The coating is not premium either, just a sickly milk chocolate, just not what it should be. I will return the remaining 3 for a refund....yuk!
