Robust design, seems well-made. I can imagine this product lasting 20 years or longer with careful use.
Cons:
Don't bother trying to sharpen serrated knives despite the product's claims. You will ruin the stropping disc in a short amount of time.
I can't get a really finely polished blade, the medium disc is too coarse.
You can't replace the discs without sending back to the factory.
Overall I would recommend this product unless you are a real perfectionist, in which case stick with your wet stones.

you pull the knife through at the correct timing rate. I have had problems with knifes "shuddering" and it isn't really that good for the cheaper knives. My good knives all come up reasonably sharp - but certainly not razor sharp, but the cheaper ones are just "not as blunt". I have had better results with hand-held sharpening devices.
