who initially wanted to repair the oven and then offered to refund the purchase price due to limited stock availability in WA. It was eventually replaced, begrudgingly, under warranty which had to include removal of the first oven and set up of the replacement as it is a dual fuel oven requiring qualified electricians and gas fitters to remove and reinstall. The replacement oven was set up, unfortunately not level and the first time used it has a very noticeable rattle which I initially thought was the oven racks but cause unknown.

Measuring shows that the oven is so poorly manufactured that is out of square. 895mm at the top 900mm at the bottom. Very noticeable as the oven sits between cupboards. No amount of adjustment can sort out this problem. Technicians called out to investigate. As a result the oven to be replaced, sometime between Christmas and New Year but with a different brand.

Update: Christmas Day, 3 of the gas hobs would no longer stay alight when operating. Obviously the replacement oven is a real lemon.

Don’t bother – Oven blew up within 30 minutes of the tech leaving it on to get rid of the new oven smell. Within this time it was smoking so bad the smoke alarms… Read more

went off. They refused to get the technician back to take it out and I had to follow up next day. Tech confirmed faulty and took it away. Had to ring again to follow up only to be called a liar as the technicians don’t take ovens away. Still no follow up and they think it’s acceptable to not have an oven to cook for your family! Stay aware from F&P they treat you like garbage.
