Best sofa – I have had my klippan sofa for 15 years sagging a bit now but used and abused ever day. Very comfortable once you get used to it covers can be a pain to change as I find it a two person job.will definitely be buying another one soon Show details
Not at all comfortable – Looks good, easy to put together. I paid the top price for the good mattress. Had to put a foam topper and 2 Doonas on it. Still hard. Would have been better off paying the cheaper price for the simple foam mattress. Show details

lost their firmness after just one year, to the point we were literally sitting on the wooden frame, it also broke when we tried to dismantle it to move to a different room a year later. I don’t think I’ve ever came across something more overpriced than this sofa, except for those prime drinks during lockdown!

cover's turned into stone washed blue jeans look after washing them in cold gentle cycle. Blue runs and bleeds appearing all over in random patterns.
Ikea gladly advised I could buy another set for $1,000 for the 2 sofas, as everything but the covers are covered by the fully washable warranty that originally prompted my purchase.

the cushion is started to deteriorate. With minimal use I should add. Usually there's nobody using the couch during the weekdays. Took pictures and sent to the customer service. They gave me three options. Full refund, replacement, or payment for 30% of the value of the couch so that we'll accept it as is. We chose to get a new couch. Other than the issues we had, we really like the couch itself. So they sent us another one in Dec 2022. 6 month after that the same thing happened in the exact place. I called the customer service again. Sent them the photos and asked for a refund this time. Spent a lot of time on the phone and chatting with them. Nothing. They say it's "environmental" without giving any other explanation. They advised me to take the couch to the nearest Ikea store. We do not have Ikea where I live, and I don't have a vehicle to drive my couch around. So I just gave in. A couple of months later I was at the Ikea store and just wanted to check the same couch in display over there. I should say I am not very surprised that it has the same damage (smaller) in the exact same place. Just went to the customer service desk. Told them about all this and showed them the photos of my couch and their display. The lady at the desk said she forwarded this to the customer service manager and they will go inspect the display and get back to me about this. That conversation was 2 weeks ago. Nobody called me since. Ikea is ghosting me. I really cannot believe it!!

have a very strong musty/mouldy smell that fabric gets after being exposed to moisture. The smell has gone through to pillows on the couch. We have tried to contact IKEA but they are constantly “extremely busy” and the chat drops out. We love our couch in terms of size and colour etc, however this is an issue with storage in IKEA warehouse that needs to be addressed.
