Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer Model: AX3100G, to go with our new Hisense 65” Smart TV! I reviewed the TV too of course!
Firstly it was very reasonably priced, and to be expected works very well with the TV, the Wireless Subwoofer works well, and obviously you can move it to suit your preferences!
It goes without saying the sound quality is excellent, it has AI Technology with 6 Different Modes, for the Ultimate Listening Pleasure, Movie,Music,News,Night,Sport and Game!

AT LONG LAST! – after the terrible experiences with the Yamaha YAS-209 & TCL P733W soundbars (both reviewed by myself on product review) Hisense has delivered what i… Read more
required. bluetooth range to be able to stream music. the Hisense HS3100AU doesn't necessarily sound any better than the Yamaha YAS-209 or TCL P733W but it also doesn't sound any worse either & to this point listening is a subjective experience anyway. i can walk into another room in my small house with my mobile & the bluetooth doesn't drop out. this wasn't the case with the TCL P733W & it definitely wasn't the case with the Yamaha YAS-209. so far so good. i would recommend this soundbar if you love to stream music & also improve the sound of audio from your tv instead of using the tv speakers.

Obnoxious start up announcement – Sound is fine, easy to set up. Every time you turn it on it makes a loud announcement saying it is on, what input, and that the subwoofer is paired.… Read more
There is no way to turn this off (I contacted Hisense to check). This has clouded my opinion of the product as it is insanely annoying to hear, and prior to purchasing had not seen this in reviews. Product is fine if you don't mind listening to that every time you turn it on.

Good audio quality for the price – This soundbar although comparatively cheap seemed to be able to fill the application I had for it to provide good quality audio for a 40” LED TV that… Read more
I had moved into a living room.
The packaging it arrived in was shaped in such a way it had only a little non recyclable packing. The soundbar seemed well made and the sub-woofer was quite heavy as the box is made of wood. The general look of the system is very good.
I mounted the sound bar on the wall under the TV with the brackets and screws provided in the kit. I sat the sub-woofer on the floor.
I have connected the TV to the line input. My laptop is connected via Bluetooth to the soundbar, so is my audio system. The optical input is connected to my VAST satellite reciever.
There is a good variety of inputs with selection by the included remote control. On board controls are at the right hand side of the soundbar, where I have the soundbar located they are not easy to get to, so I have purchased a second remote control in case the first one fails or gets lost.
If there is no audio input for some time the unit switches itself into standby a good power saving feature.
The overall audio quality is very good and the sub-woofer makes for an impressive lower end of the audio spectrum.
Summing up, this is a very good speaker system considering the price at $199.

Poor quality documentation, poor options – The unit was easy enough to set up, and imo the sound quality was OK. But 2 things really annoy me. 1. Instructions are vague, poorly drawn… Read more
pictures. It's all to save printing a multilingual manual. But I hate these cheap and nasty leaflets. There is so much you cannot communicate and it's an el-cheapo, lazy alternative. For $500+ you should hire a writer. 2. They turn the unit off if you mute your TV for a couple of minutes and I'm forever turning it back on if I pause the TV for a phone call. Maybe you can adjust the delay period, but the crap instructions aren't capable of telling you. This will be the last Hisense product I buy.
