Westinghouse freezer WFB4204 Came with dent in door. Replaced twice. Each time new door had dent. Drawers are so annoying. They don't stay on the track. Require constant pulling out and readjusting. So very annoying.

Fine but really... only 5 years? – Worked well for 4.5 years. Stopped working this week (June 2020). Westinghouse service technician (booked through Westinghouse) charged $145 to come… Read more

out and tell me that they’re only built to last that long and 90% need to be replaced once they stop working and can’t be fixed. Wish someone had told me when I booked the service, I could’ve saved $145. Also said none of them are designed to last longer so just as good to get a cheap one instead of a more expensive one.

Title: Good cooling, but poor layout with only 4 drawers makes food hard to find Review: I have owned this Westinghouse upright freezer for three… Read more

weeks now. While it performs its core job of keeping things cold, the internal layout is frustratingly impractical for daily use. What works well: • Cooling: The freezing capability is strong and reliably keeps all food properly frozen. What could be improved: • Poor Internal Layout: The configuration consists of only four drawers and one shelf. The one shelf is not of much use a drawer would be more practical. there are only four drawers instead of six, you are forced to stack food high on top of each other. This makes it incredibly hard to find or organize frozen goods without everything burying each other. • USELESS DOOR ALARM: : The built-in door alarm is completely ineffective. It is nothing like a Fridge alarm that you can hear from the next room. You have to be right next to it TO HEAR IT and it only beeps about every 30 - 60 seconds. IF YOU ADVERTISE WITH AN ALARM MAKE IT A REAL ALARM Final Verdict: It freezes food well, but the lack of drawers and the quiet alarm mean it falls short on user-friendliness. I wouldn't recommend it if you like an organized freezer

This appliance has not lasted very well at all – In July 2021 I bought the Westinghouse 86L Bar Freezer WFM0900WD. It worked fine for about 12 months or so, and I did all the right things,… Read more

defrosting every six months, and making sure the door was properly closed. Some weeks ago, I noticed that the lowest drawer did not seem as cold as the middle and top drawers, and the lowest drawer is where I store frozen vegetables and frozen chips. Over the next few weeks, the lower part of the freezer seemed to get warmer, to me it seemed about the temperature of the inside of a refrigerator. Not exactly a good temperature for a freezer. As it was due to be defrosted, I defrosted the freezer, switched it off and unplugged it, left the door ajar and removed all food to the fridge, and removed the drawers. When it was fully defrosted, I wiped it out, removed the tray that I had put at the bottom to catch the water, re-plugged it and switched it on, and replaced all the food. As a test, I left the lowest drawer empty except for a freezer pack to see if that would freeze. I checked the next morning, but that freezer pack had not frozen, and I was not terribly impressed. I also had to throw out the packets of vegetables and chips, the vegetables were rotten and the chips were mouldy. I am very disappointed with this appliance and will not be recommending it to anyone. To me, it was a waste of my money.

Worked well for 7 years and then failed – This freezer worked well for 7 years, with no complaints. It then developed a gas leak, and the technician advised that it was not economic to fix… Read more

($800 to fix on a freezer that originally cost $1300). The same technician advised that problems like this are not unusual, following the manufacturing of these moving to China.
