Ordered $1200 unit in November 2025, multiple contacts, was always very polite and always coming up with some excuse as to why there were delays. Still no receipt of item, have reported this to all authorities including Police requesting they investigate. Expect this guy will pop up again under a new scam name.
Also been scammed, 28th of October ordered and plenty of calls towards them and emails ect. Now deleted and no refund or product.
I placed an order with 12vgear (Gold Coast) in Oct 25 and payment was taken. The goods were not supplied, and despite multiple attempts to contact them, I did not receive a response or update. I ultimately resolved the matter through my bank via a chargeback. Sharing my personal experience so others can make an informed decision
Ordered my product in October 2025. Yet to receive anything and they won’t return my calls. No follow up at all. Worst company there is. Do not use them. Spend your hard earned money with a reliable company. Not 12 Volt Gear
Follow-up · I think the business has shut. They won’t respond to my emails nor answer the phone. Very disappointed in the business owner. And to this he owns another 4 business. I would be very limited in trust with any of this man’s work or involvement.
[Name Removed] from 12 Volt Gear Queensland is a scammer. They have failed to deliver on a purchase I made and the mobile number that was posted on the website (0430 675 814) is a dead number. As of today, the website "https://12voltgear.com.au" has now been deactivated and I have lost all communication channels with this person
Follow-up · Just to follow up on some questions received... This purchase was done online using my credit card on their websitewhich has since shut down. The purchase was made in mid December 2025. My bank has provided a refund to me whilst they investigate and hopefully themselves can recover the funds from the vendor.
Fraud. Head Unit for car was stated as being compatible and retains all connections. Does NOT, volume controls and station selection on steering wheel not working
Follow-up · Took it to professional auto electrician. They sorted issue. It does work great.
My son ordered a head unit for $1289, paid and never received the part. The receptionist always says someone will call back but they never do. They are a fraud/scam company. Don't go near them!!
Rip off, do not use them or contact them, I purchased a head unit for a 2009 lancer for $620 2 months ago August 2025, didn't get my item and no communication even after multiple emails, the number no one answers and when you do get a response it's sorry we have a backlog, I have reported to ACCC and my bank to get my money back Worst company
