Just warning everyone do not buy from 4wd drive supacentre because if you open the cardboard box it came in you cannot return it even for an exchange or credit, yes I’m talking about the cardboard box it was sent in not the actual item itself!! You would not even k is the box had been opened as I was very careful! How are you supposed to know what you bought is suitable if you cannot open it!! Will not ever buy from them again

Kings Pantry Slide 12v Travel Oven Kings Drawer Table suitable for 1070mm Kings Drawers Kings 85L Upright Fridge/Freezer – I appreciate the Kings Pantry Slide and 12v Travel Oven, although they are somewhat heavy at 24kg. As I am not a cabinet maker and lack the funds to hire someone, I am preparing it myself for solo camping. I think it's shaping up quite nicely. P.S. back of my Toyota Landcruiser 80 series is from the 4WD Supacentre Online store. I'm satisfied with the purchases and am looking forward to adding the Kings Plus 270 Tourer XL Freestanding Awning with the Freestanding Awning Bracket (Triple) to my setup. Thank you, King, for your excellent products. Please continue the great work. The affordability of King's pricing makes this possible for me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tgr1bTrBZA8
I’ve bought from this store before with no issues, but their own brand UHF 5W radio was a disaster. It barely transmitted over 2km, while my 6-year-old Uniden worked perfectly. On a 4WD trip, everyone else communicated fine—I got crackling. I returned it for a refund, and they refused, saying the warranty was void because I used a connector for… Read more
the 12V line. They didn’t even test the unit—and apparently believe that adding a connector is “not the way” to connect it. Then how, exactly?
According to ACCC guidelines, they cannot reject my claim. If you want to educate yourself about your rights as a consumer, see: ACCC – https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/problem-with-a-product-or-service-you-bought/repair-replace-refund-cancel
This store clearly cares only about sales, not service. My mistake? Trying to save $100 instead of buying a Uniden or GME.
I am now lodging a complaint with the ACCC. I won’t be shopping here again.

I bought an Adventure Kings 3x3m. What a piece of junk! There was:- A major structural failure: A main support leg has bent and buckled under negligible wind loads, rendering the entire frame unstable and dangerous. I don't think it could have been that sturdy to begin with. It was not even that windy! Fabric Degradation: Numerous tears and… Read more
"thinned" patches have appeared in the canopy after only seven days of use. I should imagine after a while the whole thing would be completely useless.
Safety Concerns: We were forced to cut our trip short and pack up early because the frame was no longer structurally sound.
4WD Supacentre has: Ignored my legal rights: They refused a refund and tried to force a replacement on me.
They refused to refund my original shipping, yet offered to pay for a courier to collect the broken unit and ship a new one, a cost that far exceeds the refund I asked for. This approach is financially reckless, environmentally wasteful, and logistically absurd. It serves no purpose other than to obstruct and stonewall a loyal customer’s legal right to a refund for a major product failure.
I told them I did not accept that. And so they closed my claim without my consent, and then sent a notification that my replacement is ready for collection in Dandenong, VIC!! ...... I live in Tasmania!
I have now lodged a dispute with my bank and a formal complaint with CBOS Tasmania. Save yourself the stress—shop elsewhere.

I purchased the Kings 115AH battery on 12/09/2025 from eBay's 4wdsupacentre, but within a week, the strip light flashed, and the Kings Maxi Battery Box displayed 5.6 volts. charger, followed by multimeter testing, and requested documentation. I bought a multimeter but couldn't find a charger, incurring significant costs. This experience, combined with previous issues with Kings products, has led me to seek higher-quality alternatives at premium prices. As I reside off-grid without electricity, charging the battery wasn't feasible, prompting the purchase of a VoltX 12V 200Ah LiFePO4 Lithium Battery, costing five times the Kings 115AH. in simple terms l will never buy another item from kings ever again.

I only used this gazebo twice for a stall, and the rest of the time it was kept in storage. After laying garden pavers, I set it up in the backyard in a sheltered area next to the garage wall, well secured. Within just one month—with only occasional rain and no strong winds—it completely collapsed. The metal tubes are as thin as paper. I tried to make a claim, but it was rejected. Very poor quality. Do not waste your money on this product. Show details

Never buying anything from 4WD Supacentre again, as they do not honour their statutory “fit for purpose” obligations, in terms of Victorian Consumer Affairs guidelines. Their shonky gazebo hubs are only useful as a sun shade. They leak like a sieve… Read more
with the smallest shower of drizzle/rain. Poor quality stitching and no sealing of seams. I obtained advice from Victorian Consumer Affairs, who advised that 4WD Supacentre are breaking sections 54,55,56 and 263 of Victorian Consumer Law, by not providing a repair/replacement/refund for faulty goods that were not fit for purpose. I wish I have of read the independent online reviews of the product - not 4WD Supacentres own review site, as I would not have purchased the product now that I have read other reviews of the product. External Satisfaction Rating of 1.4 pretty much says it all. I ended up returning the Gazebo Hub to the local store, for them to dispose of, as its a unusable.
Follow-up · Alternative OZ Trail product worked perfectly. Its now been used 3 times. No leaking at all. Adventure Kings 4WD Supacentre product, customer service and warranty process is abysmal. Kings only post positive reviews on their website. So their products appear to be much better than they actually are. Better off reviewing all products from external sites.

solar panels up on the beach for 2 days charging a lead acid 70 amp hr battery. It run the fridge and a strip light without even looking like going flat. I checked the voltage across the terminals while charging and got 13.85 volt consistently even thou it was mainly overcast. The solar controller outputs 17.6 volt not coupled to the battery which shows its working to its specification. Both these of these items are a great addition to the camping set up. No doubt to me that the 4wd Super centre products are on the mark for price and quality, have payed a lot more for inferior products in the past.

In summary:
• Goods purchased in morning and returned within 6 hours due to products not compatible with existing battery pack.
• Products returned unopened.
• Sales staff attending to the return agreed existing battery pack too small for products
• Original sales staff stated the battery pack was adequate.
• Research show battery is not adequate.
• Customer Service staff on the 1800 number rude and unhelpful.
• Staff keep saying it was a Change of mind refund, it is not it was purchased in error on my behalf and misinformation of sale staff behalf.
The research clearly show the products need a larger battery and if that had been mentioned at the time of purchasing we wouldn’t have purchased the products.
Really disgusted with this process and appalled by your staff attitude. As paying consumers this has been total customers manipulation and abuse. I found their comments insulting.
We will be taking this matter to the highest level. We will make sure that others that have had the same issue with this company come forward and are spoken for too.

I’ve had a really disappointing experience with 4WD online store, they’ve become completely unreliable. I placed a click-and-collect order for 4 items online, collecting at Ballarat Store, all showing as in stock at the time. Shortly after, I received a notification confirming that all 4 items were ready for collection. Since I live about an hour… Read more
away, I made the trip to Ballarat specifically to pick them up.
When I arrived, I was told that one item was actually out of stock, and another had been damaged by a forklift. I was asked to wait until both items were available again before coming back — meaning my trip was completely wasted.
After waiting a few weeks with no updates, I called them. They told me one item was now available and the other could be sourced from Bendigo, and that it had been allocated to me. Before making another long drive (this time to Bendigo), I called again just to confirm — only to be told that item had already been sold out as well.
At that point, I contacted the Ballarat store again, and the only solution offered was a refund.
Overall, this was a frustrating and time-wasting experience — inaccurate stock information, poor communication, and no regard for customers who have to travel long distances. Really disappointing.

I purchased a stretcher bed and swag combo (rated to 200kgs). Both products sat unboxed and unused for 3 years due to covid and health issues. I went to finally use the stretcher and it completely collapsed and failed the very first time I used it. Despite many attempts at a reconciliation the company refused to uphold their obligations under Australian Consumer Law. Do NOT purchase from this company.

hour and 80km each way to swap the faulty pack over. Well.... Kings have to test it for 24 hours, tell us you have to drive the 2 hours and 160km back here tomorrow to get the exchange......they say that it's not that we don't believe you, it's just due process that says "we don't believe you". Kings can't send the new one out you have to drive the 2 hours and 160km to get it. Kings say the ACCC says they don't have to exchange it or compensate us for all the fuel and time. A further worry now, while standing for 40mins waiting to sort out the jump pack.... we also bought a kings 60ltr fridge, I saw 3 Kings fridges being returned as faulty.
