Lunch for 4 & 4 paws – Chose this spot from the many eateries along the Coolangatta foreshore because there was a big obvious sign that said Doggies Welcome (at the footpath tables). That was perfect because our friends were coming to lunch with their pooch. It's very casual with lots of atmosphere and gorgeous aspect looking across the beachfront park to the ocean… Read more
beyond. The menu isn't huge but there plenty of variety. We chose a burrito bowl, a very nice plateful of calamari and two plates of tacos (one was all fish and the other all chicken but you can mix them up and/or combine with vegetarian). Everyone loved their meals. Prices were reasonable and most importantly there was some love in the food on our plates! There's plenty of craft beers to chose from too but we didn't sample. The only reason that I'm not giving 5 stars is because the table wasn't clean when we sat down and no one was really interested in fixing that and welcoming us. That would have been the icing on the cake (oh and the fact that there's a toilet on site is another tick).
No longer craft beer – 4 Pines used to have great craft beer but since it has been taken over by a beer conglomerate it's been decimated. May as well drink VB or any other rubbish cheaper.
