Delivery was yesterday 08.06 26. Received meat that went out of date 06.06.26. Also x4 of the chicken packs had slits in the packaging, so let air in and no longer vaccum sealed. Surely the quality will be affected from that. Have sent photos as requested and then radio silence from the business. Sent follow up email, ignored. Ill be cancelling. Not worth it
received my very first box as a single mum to 10 its great to know ill always have a freezer full and I love that it comes already portioned/frozen the only this I would suggest is to pack the mince more flat so it stacks easier in the freezer and also defrosts faster otherwise great value for money and very tasty can't wait to get my next order. fact I had already lost my steak promotion from Our Cow themselves so how can I loose it again. Disappointment with the lack of communication regarding promotion ending. Yes I understand things can change but if you have pop ups for other things when placing order why couldn’t they have a pop up advising changes to the promotion. Also dissatisfied with placing my order as required 3 days before, budgeting on that then having prices increase 3 days later when I get order receipt.

We have found Our Cow meat great quality, tastes amazing and is packaged beautifully. And the Our Cow team have been wonderful to communicate with when I’ve incorrectly picked my deliver date or items ect and a quick email and they have responded so quickly and fixed it same day. boxes arrived on the selected delivery day, allowing me to ensure I was home for the delivery. Everything comes pre-frozen, which I hadn't really thought about much until I realised that all the best-before dates were for the time it can be frozen. That extra small feature will make sorting out the meat in the freezer so much easier. The produce is great - I recently compared the burger patties from Our Cow to some that I got from another supplier, and the difference is drastic. The amount of fat that came from the "other" supplier was a lot. Our Cow patties are lean and tasty without leaving a bowl of fat in the frying pan. The family loved them.

Follow-up · What I like is the email reminder of my next delivery. This advises the date of the next delivery (can't believe four weeks rolls around so fast!) and reminds me what is in my order. I then have the ability to change the order. So far I have not done that but I like the flexibility. Our Cow is a great concept, and I love that I am helping them directly and not paying the middleman costs. Keep up the great work!

bone in chicken thighs and some "lesser" cuts of steak. However, don't be fooled, even the stuff that is not traditionally marketed as "High quality cuts" (sirloin, scotch fillet, etc...) is f###ing phenomenal. The oyster blade steaks are top notch, the Y bone steaks are crazy good too. Ive have had thousands of steaks, in expensive restaurants, at BBQ's, ones ive made myself, and this is hands down the best quality meat I have ever tasted. It beats whatever you're getting at Woolies, Coles and even most local butcheries. The beef mince is so flavorsome you can eat it on its own, the chicken is fatty and tastes like real chicken, the steaks are mouthwateringly good, Im actually at a loss for words.
I never write reviews but after 2 weeks of eating the meat I ordered, I had to go out of my way to write this. Please, if you are shopping around, debating where and what to order, Our cow is the place to buy. Whatever you buy, however much you buy, its going to be affordable and delicious. Do not waste your time any where else, as from now on I will be exclusively ordering my protein from Our Cow.
P.S. the delivery was on time. Everything came frozen and packaged with care in insulated boxes. There is a reason they have a 4.9 star rating with 3000+ reviews.
Products are generally ok, some items arrived incorrectly or badly packed and were full of ice. I've attached a photo of how the chicken looks after defrosting. They send out an invite for reviews and it seems many review on the first box before they have a chance to stuff it up. Glad I waited so I can review the reality.
Subscribe process is terrible and the reason for this review. Took money out at the wrong times. I set for 20th so I could have time to change order but they took on the 16th and now won't respond. Just getting an AI bot saying cannot change once they take money. Now I'm stuck with a second meatloaf I didn't want!

incredibly tender and juicy – they loved it. Their motto, “Eat Better Meat,” really does feel accurate. Since starting our subscription we genuinely feel like we are eating better. Having a regular delivery is incredibly helpful because there is always something in the fridge to quickly turn into a meal. With two working parents and kids juggling school and club sports, that convenience makes a huge difference. We’ve also noticed we’re ordering far less takeaway now. While some cuts may cost a little more than the local supermarket, the quality is superb and the reduction in takeaway spending probably balances it out overall. The same goes for the leg of lamb – sometimes you can pay top dollar elsewhere and still not get meat that tastes this good. The free tomahawk steak was also a big crowd pleaser when we had friends over. The only suggestion I’d make is that they should extend the promotion – if our friends sign up for their first box with Our Cow, we should get another free tomahawk. One tomahawk disappears pretty quickly once you start sharing!

They are difficult to deal with when you have a complaint, and I have had to complain a number of times and I've only had 5 deliveries. I've had missing items and in my second last box I had disgusting prawns, and I'm still waiting to hear back from them what they were doing about it. ($34 value) sirloin steak with FREE ($15 value) mince without any notice. I refuse to put up with this kind of service when I'm paying a premium price.
Great quality frozen meat products delivered monthly have eliminated the wastage in our house that used to occur due to our busy schedule and erratic works hours. It costs a little more but it is well worth it, knowing that the money is going into the pockets of hard working Aussie Farmers. A great business model deserving of your support! Show reply
