Worst Experience ever – This pram. Hi tech, flashing lights, beautiful all the mums in my group thought I had the best pram! The charger was lost (yes my fault) but it can't be replaced. Not at the store I purchased from, not on gumtree not anywhere in Perth. I can't even order it online from America. So this amazing pram has been a severe disappointment.
I thought I received the perfect stroller for my babyshower – I was so in love with my stroller I thought my son was so lucky but I didn't realized that the stroller didn't detect my son and my niece press the button and the stroller closed with my 1yr old inside I have to start screaming so someone could help me get my son out while I was holding the stroller open there is no error message I am so stressed out with this stroller please help
don't know were to start – I can't stress enough how bad this buggie is if u have rather large baby's the carry cot only last about 4 months and the seat is from 6 months as it so small and this product folded while my son was in the seat we were lucky as I stopped it before he got crushed. The seat doesn't lay flat like most buggies and it don't look to comfortable ever I also purchased a mama roo which just stopped working after 6 months use
Unsafe! – Purchased this pram because it seemed awesome and completely what the future of prams will all be like but disappointed is an understatement. It was heavy which wasn't great after having a c-section, didn't charge while I walked, battery would die as I was either opening or closing it, the lcd display only displayed partially, the button for the… Read more
bassinet attachment is in an awkward spot which made removing the bassinet hard but the worst was when I used the stroller for the third time and it closed on its own with my baby in it! I was pleased to say that the store I purchased the pram from were fantastic, expressed lots of concern for the safety of my baby and all I had to do was bring the pram back in and they exchanged it for another pram there and then, no mucking around, no warranty claims just a straight exchange. I wouldn't recommend this pram ever, in fact I now stay away from anything electrical or gimmicky.
Worst pram ever!! – Also got his pram for our first born. Its been nothing but crap since day 1. Folded up twice with our baby in it. Doesnt matter how much walking you do it will never charge. Also got stuck in car parks waiting for the stupid thing while it has a hissy fit and wont fold up or unfold. Dislike everything about this pram.. Contacted the 4mom who… Read more
where not useful for nothing. i like the pram that much it just sits in the shed collecting dust.... NEVER AGAIN
perfect pram! – I love my origami! also owned a combi pram but I use the origami more! I've only charge the stroller once when I first got it! the auto fold system is awesome when u have to carry bub and diaper bag, only downside is the stroller weighs 15kg! but not a issue for me I can bring it up n down the car easily. This is my everyday pram I use it when I… Read more
had to go to the shops or out and about its so sturdy and suspension is awesome so bub does not wake up even were on rocky terrain!
I've also for the bassinet but hasnt use it as bub has been on the stroller since 4months no problem at all!
LOVE IT – I love the origami. I have it with the Bassinet for new born, nice large size can be used for longer. I saw someone on here wrote that the motor makes noise.. its not a motor its a generator and as you push the pram and the wheel turns it generates power, its the same mechanism they use in those wind up touches. how can you diss this pram when it… Read more
is so advanced. All prams in the future are going to be like this.
the only thing I would say is the recline is minimal in the seat.. but if you use the bassinet up to the full 6 months or longer like you should then the recline in the seat is sufficient. Also I wish they brought out a Maxi Cosi carseat adaptor for it - in the US they brought out a adaptor for Graco but I can understand since this pram was designed in the US.
All the other features are obvious. digital display is handy, power fold is handy too, I walk quite alot so I havnt been caught having to manually fold the pram when im out and about. and I had the pram 3 months before bubs came so I practised the manual fold. it fits into my commodore sedan to the side with plenty of room for other items. Havnt had to claim warranty as of yet because nothing has gone wrong on it. I also own a Baby Jogger City Versa pram. I use the versa if im going out for a quick one. but I use the origami if I know I will be out for a while or if we are going to dinner because it is heavier than my Versa pram.
Terrible for practicality, steering, storage and folding – We bought one of these strollers for our first born from the states before it was released in Australia ( July 2012). The novelty of the power folding, odometer, lights and all the other gadgets wore off very quickly! We could not use the Origami for a long time due to the fact that the seat does not recline. The bassinet was not realeased at the… Read more
time and they kept putting it off, so we were never able to test it, but now that I have seen it in stores there is no way it would have fitted in our car (Suzuki SX4). The stroller works great on rough terrain, but steers terribly on shiny shopping centre floors, always pulling to the right, and forget about reversing it to turn, the pram becomes impossible to turn and steer forwards once you have pulled it backwards. You have to walk really far in order to charge the pram, so plugging it in is a necessity, and even when in full charge it sometimes gets stuck mid-fold and won't open or close. The manual folding function is extremely difficult to operate. I've been stuck on numerous occasions for up to half an hour in car parks trying to get it to fold up (both manually and electronically). The storage bag is a useless size, at most you can shove a jumper in there and the hole at the front is small and hard to fit things through. My son is now two, and short for his age and is already growing out of the seat. The suspension is good, (once again for off road), but otherwise the stroller is heavy and difficult to maneuver. Since having the issues with the steering and folding, I now use our $80 childcare pram which we bought when we discovered our baby could not use the Origami until able to sit by himself. With child number two on the way, we now are buying a stroller with a second seat. So even if this review does not put you off the Origami, don't spend this sort of money if you plan on having more than one child.
regretful purchase! – Space underneath the pram cant even fit ur handbag, pram itself & seperate bassinet (thats $300) are extremely heavy, motor makes noise, the 6month+ seat doesn't lay back, if battery runs out u have to manually charge it and both pram and bassinet struggle to fit in the boot of my toyota corolla. Was dissapointed in my choice deffaintly wouldnt… Read more
recommend to anyone headlights for night time and the automatic folding not practical at all, bad warranty service, way to pricey for all the problems it has
Best Storller – I bought a 4Moms Origami stroller and tested it intensively, This is the most advance stroller on the market, It has a one touch automatic folding system, with an LCD display to see if bub is still there and an Speedometer to see how fast you are walking. It also charges your mobile Phone while walking. Has got lights for night to see where you… Read more · 2
are going. I highly recommend this stroller Automaicaly Folds and unfolds with a touch of a button, no manual folding any more, easy to use and sturdy Little bit heavier than the smaller stollers but fold small and easy pickup and put it in the car or to store
