The Redsbaby SKIP3 is highly regarded as a versatile travel stroller that frequently replaces full-sized prams for everyday use. Users consistently praise its genuine one-handed folding mechanism, lightweight frame, and surprisingly large storage basket. While designed for travel and overhead cabin compatibility, its stability on urban terrain and near-flat recline make it a popular choice for naps and errands.
Pros
- Effortless Manoeuvrability: The stroller is noted for being exceptionally light and easy to steer with one hand, gliding smoothly over footpaths, shopping centres, and even moderate urban bumps.
- Superior Compact Fold: The one-motion fold and unfold system is a standout feature, allowing parents to manage the pram while holding a child; it consistently fits into airline overhead lockers and small car boots.
- Generous Storage & Coverage: For a compact stroller, the under-seat basket is exceptionally spacious and accessible, complemented by an oversized extendable canopy that provides excellent sun protection.
- Comfortable Sleep Features: The seat reclines almost completely flat, which, combined with the adjustable footrest, allows infants and toddlers to nap comfortably during outings.
Cons
- Brake Positioning: A recurring complaint from taller users is the central location of the brake pedal, which is frequently kicked accidentally while walking, causing the pram to stop abruptly.
- Fixed Handlebar Height: The handlebar is not adjustable, which some users find uncomfortable or too short, particularly for those over 180cm.
- Lack of Viewing Window: Multiple reviewers noted the absence of a "peek-a-boo" window in the canopy, making it difficult to check on the child without stopping or leaning around the front.
- Self-Unfolding Tendency: Some users flagged that the pram can occasionally begin to unfold itself if lifted by the handlebar rather than the dedicated carry strap or frame.
Verdict
The Redsbaby SKIP3 is an excellent investment for parents seeking a lightweight, stylish, and highly functional stroller for both international travel and daily urban life. While it may pose ergonomic challenges for very tall parents due to the fixed handle and brake placement, its ease of use and premium features make it a top contender in the compact stroller market.
Fabulous pram. The one handed fold, unfold works as well as expected and I can do it while holding bub in my other arm. The only thing that is not one handed is folding the foot rest, so I suggest you do this when bub is still sitting in the chair, then take bub out and fold the rest of the pram. Extremely manoeuvrable. The extended canopy is… Read more
wonderful and bub has had good pram naps in the recline. I would estimate the pram sits up nice and vertical at about 110°, and then reclines back to almost flat at about 170° or so.
Such a good quality travel pram! Doesn’t feel flimsy at all. Easy to fold up. Love the currant colour for something different! My 6 month old loves it and is comfortable in it. Show details
We’ve had our stroller for a month now and we love it. We’ve just taken it on holiday and it has been so convenient for us, folds up beautifully. We even took it on unpaved hikes and it held up very well. My son is very comfortable in it and loves being in it. Show details

The Redsbaby Skip 3 is hands down the best pram I’ve owned. It’s lightweight, folds so easily and is compact enough to fit anywhere. The storage basket is surprisingly spacious, the recline is fantastic for naps and the extendable canopy provides amazing sun coverage. It pushes beautifully and feels sturdy despite being so lightweight. It’s become our everyday pram, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it more!
Bought this for a holiday with our six-month old. It worked a treat, it's light and agile when pushing, packs down small for flights and has great under seat storage for nappies and supplies. I would highly recommend it! Show details
We absolutely love our travel pram—so much so that we started using it daily for our 11-week-old girl. She looks so snug in her bassinet cocoon right now, perfect for the winter time. It fits perfectly in my hatchback boot (with room for some grocery bags, too). It takes me 10 seconds to set up and fold down. It is beautiful and so functional. The… Read more
storage tray is more spacious than my other large pram (from a different brand) for a fraction of the price. The Skip3 is so lightweight that I can manoeuvre it with one hand. We get complimented all the time on the colour and compactness. We could not be happier!
We purchased our Redsbaby Skip3 for travelling around the NT, Aus in March 2026 and have used it on almost every pram walk ever since! We love our Skip3, it made travelling for the first time with our baby so easy. It is so light and compact, easy to get on and off of domestic flights, the quick fold mechanism is also extremely helpful especially… Read more
when we were on the go a lot. The fold down seat option is also fantastic and made pram naps easy when out and about. Since returning from holidays we use this pram more than our original ‘day to day’pram as it is so easy to get around with and Bub loves it. The only problem is we wish we had purchased our other day to day pram from RedsBaby since using this travel pram. This pram is hands down the best pram we have used, the quality is fantastic and the reviews speak for themselves, I would recommend this pram to all my friends and family looking for a reliable light weight pram.
As first time parents, we were convinced we needed one of the big, premium prams. We bought a Silver Cross with all the extras and a double seat, thinking ahead to having multiple children. While it was a beautiful pram, the reality was that it was huge. It barely fit in our car, and getting it in and out of the boot was a workout every single… Read more

As a new mum recovering from a complicated birth with stitches, lifting and folding such a heavy pram made every outing feel overwhelming. We actually got to the point where we thought we needed to spend $50,000 on a larger family car just to accommodate our pram.
Then we bought the Redsbaby Skip³, and honestly, it solved everything.
It folds effortlessly with one hand, is incredibly lightweight, and I can easily carry it on my shoulder. The amount of boot space it frees up is unbelievable. I’m not even exaggerating when I say it feels like I could practically sleep in the boot with the pram still in there.
Most importantly, it has given me the confidence to go out on my own with my baby. What used to feel like a major operation is now quick, simple, and stress free. Yes, you sacrifice some storage space compared to a larger pram, but that’s such an easy trade off. I downsized my baby bag, packed only what I actually need, and everything suddenly feels lighter and more manageable.
The Redsbaby Skip³ has genuinely made life as a new parent easier. Instead of worrying about wrestling with a bulky pram, I can focus on what matters most: getting out, making memories, and enjoying time with my baby. I only wish I’d bought it sooner.
Absolutely love the skip 3! Bought it for a big trip through Asia and Europe and could not fault it at all. The fabric is beautifully buttery soft and it has ALL the features that you’d want for a travel pram. I love that it lays almost flat as this makes napping on the go for my 7 month old easy. A lot of the big brand travel strollers do not… Read more
recline as much and this aspect alone sold it to me. I recommend this pram to everyone now. Thanks Reds baby! Picture from Clarke quay in Singapore!
We bought it together with the bassinet attachment and it’s been great for getting around with a newborn. What we like most is how compact it is — it folds down easily and fits into the car boot without taking up much space. The folding mechanism is straightforward and quick, which makes a big difference when you’re juggling a baby and bags. The… Read more
bassinet attachment has also been useful for naps on the go and longer walks while our baby is still little. Turning and handling have been good as well — it feels easy enough to manoeuvre around shops, footpaths, and tighter spaces without feeling too bulky.
Currently as we are only using the bassinet right now, we find it a bit difficult to access the storage below, but it’s still bigger than a lot of other travel prams we looked at, so it’s been manageable for everyday use. Overall it feels practical, lightweight, and convenient for everyday use.
Wow. Just wow. Compact, user friendly, lightweight, spacious undercarriage….and best of all, my Bub loves all of the different angles of recline. Have already recommended it to several parents. Show details
I did a lot of research when narrowing down which travel pram was going to suit us best. I wanted something that was sturdy enough for everyday use with school runs and just quick grocery visits, but also lightweight and compact that it easily fitted in airlines carry on baggage requirements. It needed a great recline and great hood coverage. The… Read more
skip 3 ticks all this and more. We recently took it away with us, and it was amazing. The basket held so much which was a must when travelling with 3 kiddos, and my 6 year old could also sit in it and rest her head back when her legs got a bit tired thanks to the super tall backrest. Compared to others on the market, the features and quality of the Skip 3 are far superior than them, especially for the price! Thanks for making travel and day to day running around with a toddler super easy!

The Skip3 has been the perfect transition from full sized pram to a more convenient and compact stroller for our family of 5. After 7 years of lugging around a large (but beautiful) full sized pram, we needed something smaller for baby number 3 that still provided comfort, looked stylish and most importantly, had decent basket space. This has been a purchase that we will not regret! Show details
Absolutely love our SKIP3. We recently went on holiday to Thailand and it was a life saver! - It was so hot in Thailand, having baby in a carrier would have been horrendous. The lightweight and easy to use SKIP meant twe didn't need to bother. - there aren't many sidewalls in Thailand, the SKIP just kept on rolling through the streets, no issue. … Read more
- the SKIP unfolds easily, and could managed with baby in hand. - it folds up really small and is lightweight, meaning we could take it as handluggage on the flights without the hassle of having to check it in. - the bag that they provide along with the SKIP3 is perfect to allow you to take it onto the plane. - we frequently used the SKIP3 as a nap spot for baby while we were out and about. Really love that it folds out flat, allowing baby to lie down, whilst having a big enough cover to ensure baby isnt in the sun/covers light.
In the end it had me wondering why I ever spent the money on a big pram! Really love our SKIP and cant wait for our next trip.
Absolutely amazing pram .My 1yr old daugther love it she never complain..We use it for travel overseas this month February .Its so very easy to fold and unfold and perfect fit the overhead of the plane .I really love it . Show details
Love the Skip2 can handle different terrain with ease. Great suspension. Our One year old is very comfortable, love the hood variations of coverage Show details
It took me a little bit to get use to how light it was as, I would grab the pram out then get my child out of the car and because it so light it was roll in away because I didn't put the break on as I didn't need to with my last pram. whole Bali airport as there were long lines and lots of waiting. I do wish it had a peek-a-boo window, I didn't realise how much I used it till I got this pram and it doesn't have one.
I chose this pram because it has an 8kg basket, extended canopy and looks so sleek and beautiful! I live in Melbourne and the footpaths are so bumpy and uneven and this pram handles the terrain so well. I use it as my everyday pram now! I got the taupe colour and it is just gorgeous. a travel bag. Very easy to unfold with one hand and so light to steer I can hold a coffee or my Phone in one hand and steer with the other! We will be taking this pram on a flight next week and also got it as it can fit in the overhead of the plane. I absolutely love this pram and so does my 8 month old baby, she is very comfortable in it and loves going for walks in it. Also has a fold out little foot rest for her as she is still short (not pictured in the photo) Pram was shipped and arrived super quickly. thanks!

This pram is amazing! I brought it because I have a little one that is not yet 1 years old and am expecting my second, I was looking for a pram that could fold up really easily and was more compact and easy to lift in and out of the car. This pram… Read more
has it all compact design for on the go, easy fold and when folded is very compact and takes up no space at all in my car. The basket is spacious and can fit my big nappy bag plus my bottle and a small amount of shopping. I have taken this pram everywhere since I got it 2 weeks ago and it goes everywhere, the wheels are very easy to manoeuvre and takes no effort at all to push. My little one is very comfortable in it and has fallen asleep in it a few times (she doesn't fall asleep in her other pram much, if at all).
Follow-up · The canopy coverage is great covers my little to the waist bar. It handles the rough terrain easily, just be careful as it can tip a bit easier being so light weight. Very easy to clean a damp cloth does the trick. Only thing we wish it had is a telescopic handle as my hubby is over 6ft tall and often kicks the basket when walking with the pram.
We’ve been using the Redsbaby 3 pram and honestly love it. The big shade is amazing it gives such great coverage and makes it really easy for our baby to nap while we’re out and about. It’s incredibly easy to steer and feels really smooth to… Read more
push, even on different terrains. The wheels handle everything really well, from footpaths to rougher ground, which has been great for everyday walks.
The colours are also really beautiful and feel modern and well designed. Another huge plus is how easily it folds up, the one-handed fold is genuinely the easiest I’ve used and makes getting it in and out of the car so simple.
Overall it’s been such a practical and well designed pram and has made getting out with the baby really easy. Would definitely recommend.
Follow-up · Since using this product overseas I've noticed that break is a little tricky to disengage when the basket is full and the back rest in the pram can come all the way forward when my baby sits fprward
So very happy with our purchase. I highly recommend to all of our friends and family. The only downside that I’ve come across personally is width of the seat seems quite tight.
Follow-up · Not heavy to lift, easy to clean used a clean face washer with water to get a few snack stains out came out perfect. I have noticed the folding isn’t as great

In-depth reviews
After travelling overseas with a cheap travel pram that collapsed half way through the trip, I can genuinely say that the Redsbaby Skip 3 is definitely a better choice! I chose it for a number of reasons. The first one was the 8kg basket capacity, the largest I’ve seen - it’s big enough that I can actually fit my baby’s backpack in the back, and… Read more
there’s still plenty of space in the front for other items. Most travel pram baskets don’t fit a backpack. Secondly, the high seat - a lot of travel prams don’t have high backs and barely fit my 18mth old but this one does which means I can get more use of it. Thirdly, the wheels turn so effortlessly even with just one hand steering - which makes going in and out of tight spaces like lifts, so much easier.
The only negatives I have is that I wish the bumper bar was included and not an additional accessory because I feel like most parents use one. Also, you have to flip it up before folding which is bothersome and hard to do with one hand - it’s possible but you really need both hands. Also, I wish there was more of an edge/lip at the end of the foot rest as my son likes to rest his foot against it. And lastly, when the backpack is in the basket, it’s hard to push the brake pedal. If that could be longer or maybe on the side, it would be better.
Overall though my toddler loves the pram and it takes so much less boot space than our normal pram so I think we’ll be using the Skip 3 as our main pram from now on!
I've been using the Skip 3 stroller for about a month now, and it's easily one of the best purchases I've made. Weighing just 6.8 kg, it's incredibly lightweight and much easier to handle, which has really helped reduce strain on my back. One of my favourite features is the excellent back support it provides for my little girl, keeping her… Read more
comfortable while we're out and about. The spacious storage basket is another great bonus, offering plenty of room for shopping and everyday essentials. I also love the extra shade provided by the canopy when needed, which is great for sunny days. The stroller folds down into a very compact size, giving me much more room in the car for other items. It's incredibly easy to use too—just a quick press of a button and it's ready to go, making outings with my little one so much more convenient
I’ve been very satisfied with the Skip 3’s performance across different surfaces. It handles smooth footpaths and shopping centres effortlessly, and it also performs well on uneven pavements, grass, and gravel paths. The stroller remains easy to manoeuvre and feels stable, while its lightweight design makes it simple to push and steer. Overall, it provides a smooth and comfortable ride for my child across a variety of terrains.
The skip 3 is my ultimate purchase since becoming a Mum. I LOVE my skip 3 and couldn’t recommend it enough.
Easy folding mechanism. Lightweight. We have travelled overseas with the pram (baby was 11m) and the pram was great at the airport and in Malaysia. It fit easily in the overhead luggage compartment. It lives in our car and we use it multiple times a week when we go to the shops etc. Our fussy 14m is happy to sit in it and has even slept in it a… Read more
few times (a small miracle). The basket size is very useful. It struggles a bit on rough terrain or on paths that are sloped to one side (you have to fight it a bit to stop it from tipping). Two annoying things about it: the first is that it’s all a one handed fold (great for when you have a toddler on your hip) except for the extendable footplate. For some reason that requires two hands. It’s amazing how annoying this becomes. The other thing is that the pram now has a tendency to unfold by itself if you accidentally lift from the handlebar. It didn’t used to do this, I used to have to press the buttons to release and unfold it. Redsbaby says this isn’t a fault and that the release buttons are only required to ensure it folds at the right time. I’d still buy it, it’s great value and very useful, but I wish redsbaby would make the footplate a one touch fold and improve the release mechanism.

We bought the Redsbaby Skip3 for our upcoming trip to Fiji, and it’s honestly the best decision we’ve made. folds down beautifully for the overhead locker, but the real winner for us was getting the custom Redsbaby sun/sleep and rain shades. Having accessories made specifically for this exact pram means zero worrying about loose fits, weird gaps, or universal covers flapping around in the island breeze. If you're tossing up whether to spend a little bit extra, it was a no brainer for us!
Love it! Very easy to fold up and down. The cover pulls down well for excellent shade cover. The suspension is amazing for a travel Pram and our baby looks extremely comfortable in the pram at all times. Thanks so much redsbaby!!! Show details
Comfortable for user, love the handle grip and handle height, stylish pram, generous basket size. Easy to use. Can only complain about seat size for child. Skip 2 seat seemed a lot deeper. Skip 3, I find my child is basically sitting on the buckle and it doesnt appear as comfortable. Show details
Pram was dispatched and delivered so quickly once ordered. We chose the olive green colour and absolutely love it, so easy to put up and down and so compact for travel. Ordered specifically for the larger basket, which is great for travel. It looks a lot nicer than many of the other travel prams on the market too. Definitely recommend. Show details
The skip3 stroller is a great travel pram. I was unsure about buying a pram without trying it first but glad I went ahead. wont be able to use it for very long. Its also a bit annoying to fold tge pram with the bassinet as you have to unzip it from the frame but it only takes about a minute, so not too bad. We got the currant colour which is really lovely and looks very premium.
