Acer Liquid Metal 120 (2011)

The Worst Phone Ever – As an older person (55) I consider my intelligent enough to use a smart phone. However, I must admit defeat at the hands of the Acer Liquid Metal 120. It offers no assistance via either the phone itself, or from a detail instruction manual. I could not get the WiFi to work despite taking the phone to our IT people and asking for their assistance. I couldn't download any music directly to the phone without first removing the memory card and then downloading the music to it,d then it had a 2gig limit. The setup is a train wreck with nothing working, and certainly no help from the phone itself - ie the provision of Wizards.

While I loath Apple, I can now see why people go with it. At least it works!!! It actually helps the user.

The Acer is the singular most frustrating piece of technology I have ever used. I had borrowed it from our IT department to sample Android but this phone has simply convinced me to stick with my Blackberry and be grateful that they at least (and Apple as well) have had the smarts to make a phone which is user friendly as well as technically sound.

Difficult to set up and use. Keyboard is too narrow with fat finger errors always occurring
