Waste of time and money. Doesn't support 3D secure authentication so gets declined by most online merchants. The registration form on their website seems to be broken as well so can't register the card either. It doesn't even work with PayPal! I would not recommend gifting these cards.

I had trouble scratching the pin number and obliterated it. I rang and the persn on the other end was super helpful. Cancelled the old one and reissued the card. Other than that, lodged it onto my wallet on the phone - and used it at the shops. Wherever I wanted. I had a great experience.

The only bit wrong was that sometimes when you lodge it onto your wallet, it says can't load the card. Customer service said they do this when it was loaded to many times or something, when it came up the first time. I waited a few hours and it workd. CS said to wait 24 hrs. Just a glitch needing to be fixed I guess.

I pulled off the sticker that I was meant to scratch, to reveal the CVV2 - dumb on my part. Rang Activ and the Customer Service Agent explained everything I needed to do to get a replacement emailed to me and I had it in 24 hours as promised. Had initial troubles with website and glue over CCV, but eventually resolved by writing a negative review here – Ignore URL printed on the card; it was redirecting me to a wrong website. Maybe not today. Go to https://www.cardbalance.com.au/ to check transactions and balances. I also suggest inspecting the card right at the checkout. those gift cards. They said no. They told me cards were blocked because they detected I tried to spend the full amount of the cards! I told them to check the back of the cards stated "Please treat this card as cash, Lost, Stolen, or expired cards can't be replaced or refunded". I'm freely to use these cards. To my surprise, they themselves were the thieves！ We paid for the card and they could easily blocked it, they took the money and you got nothing!

I was given a $125 gift card and I have wasted a bunch of time trying to use it online with no success. if I could have an address attached to the card and he said no, the card was a waste of time and money, I couldn't see on the packaging that the card won't work if a billing address is required, I would suggest that people thinking of using these cards check with the retailer first because if a billing address is required the card won't work, better off using an alternate payment method, customer service also suggested I use their website, every time I have tried to login to their website it comes back with an error and says try again later. I won't be using this product again

contact the ACTIV prepaid gift card 1800 number direct. At the commencement of the process with ACTIV, I was advised that I would receive a resolution within 24 to 48 hours. Since then, there have been over 35 email between myself and ACTIV, several escalations, ongoing reviews, many phone calls, and as a result, my funds have now been frozen for all of this time. I have also been asked by ACTIV to undertake many unnecessary and time wasting processes and provide endless documentation which has had no effect on the outcome. This matter should and could have been resolved by ACTIV in the first week through communication between ACTIV gift cards and Officeworks on my behalf and as a matter of process. This did not occur despite repeated attempts by myself proposing that this was the only way that this matter could be resolved. When this matter is completed as a result of my refusal to give up, this process will have taken 3 months in all. My communications with Officeworks have also been problematic. On 2 occasions I have visited the Officeworks Fremantle store (prior to and after dealing with ACTIV) and was advised by the Manager that they could not assist me. After recenntly being told by ACTIV that my only option was to contact Officeworks direct myself to resolve the matter, it has now taken 3 weeks to get any response from them at all. Fortunately, after regular written and phone follow up by me, Kerry, a very professional customer service representative took up my case personally and is seeing it through to a resolution by next week. Given this disastrous experience, I strongly advise that you DO NOT purchase ACTIVE prepaid giftcards through Officeworks Fremantle, or any other retailer for that matter. ACTIV processes are poor, bureaucratic, untimely, lacking in systemic communications that work from the perspective of the customer, as well as extremely poor in terms of looking after their customers in a positive and timely manner and not putting them through an agonisingly long and unnecessary process of barriers. This experience with ACTIV prepaid gift cards purchased through Officeworks Fremantle has certainly been the worst retail experience of my life. I asked for a formal apology from ACTIV senior management a few days ago, taking accountability for what has occurred. This has not been forthcoming and my case has now been closed at their end. I expected better quality control and customer service from Activ. I hope this issue is addressed promptly, as it feels unfair to be left with a $200 unusable card

My card was a gift and will not activate. I contacted customer support who first asked me to verify the amount on the card, which I did. They have now asked me to send them my full personal contact details, despite the card being a gift so these not being material to my enquiry and email not being asecure way to share personal information. Poor experience so far.

Clearly this could be in one email, they'll span this across days aiming to have you drop off, it's a scam of a company, abosulte garbage

I managed to link it to PayPal, used it twice, and then PayPal locked the card — apparently because shopping at David Jones is considered “high-risk,” which is absurd.
