have always screenshotted whenever I purchase at the time as it’s hard to remember and SB ask for evidence.
I’m getting a bit over having to detail my account like an accountant and also the crappy customer service.
Elite membership is supposed to give in SB wording “highest priority support” instead it gives u an annoying bot that u spend a lot of time on and get nowhere and when u request a human, it continues to just repeat itself.
It’s a great initiative when its works but I’m finding it’s becoming more laborious with support being really slow and the ownership is on the customer to prove the missing money.
Not worth the time or effort. The big cashback earners like Amazon/TEMU etc rarely ever track. And when you follow it up, they send you some stock standard (pointless) cut and paste reply that doesn’t even address your concerns and basically tells you that you’re wrong and there’s nothing they can do. transaction from start to completion that show you’ve done everything correctly. It’s a terrible process from the beginning, where it’s like doing homework trying to provide all the proof/information they request. Only to then be treated like a liar once it’s all done.
On the occasions that it does track you, you’ll wait for 2-4 months to find out if you actually get the cashback or if it’s been rejected. By then you have run out of time to return/refund items to the store they were purchased from.
The only real benefit is buying discounted gift cards. Oh and scanning receipts. Although that feature has gone downhill since it started and you don’t get half the benefits or bonuses that you used too.
Since joining I’ve had well over $1500 worth of cashback rejected. Even with multiple layers of proof provided each time.
This review comes from someone who is a Shopback Plus member too - which is a paid subscription that means absolutely nothing and won’t get you any better or quicker service - despite that being one of the benefits offered when joining.

Good to use, I love that I can spend and get a little bit back from when I am doing my shopping. A little bit annoyed with the waiting periods tho it takes to long .. and I am having some trouble with receiving my bonus for a referral I sent out to:( other the app is amazing.
Shopback reminds me of upcoming sales that I can save on, which is terrific... who doesnt like to save money?! I received my first cash back email... its only $1.62 so far that is withdrawable but its proof Shopback is a genuine company!

ShopBack gives opportunity for cash back from so many companies and online shops. There is also so many opportunities to earn extra rewards simply by scanning receipts. I’ve only been a part of ShopBack for a short while and have already got over $60.
Love shopback. Both my husband and I have an account with over $5000 received back. We also used a previous platform called Cashrewards and earned $1800 there too. Always read the terms and conditions before purchasing as they can change. I've rarely had an untracked purchase.

Its a no brainer, they say make your money work for you, well given it's money I'm going to spend as part of day to day life, I may as well get some of it back. After all a bonus $100 cashback for spending could be just that little extra you need one day.

What a bonza way to save and earn a few dollars! My nieces has gotten me hooked on the Shopback play feature and it's been game-changing at breaking my doom scroll habit (pun-intended). While I'm still spending time on my phone, I'm at least using my brain rather than numbing it, while making a few passive dollars. Absolute winner in my book!
Doesn't always work on PC even though it's turned on and showing green. Was manually reporting missing cashback for a while but too time consuming. Hasn't tracked none of my May purchases, but it sees clicks. Couldn't be bothered doing all the reports, going back to using Coupert. Least that offers discount codes as well as better tracking. There is a Bug in the newly-updated Shopback App, where the phone's camera now fails to open up, to take a picture, of any and all Receipts. I booked two hotels at Accor using the Shopback app in succession. I have had issues before with Accor on Shopback, either not tracking the transactions or tracking them as 'zero' despite meeting all of the T&Cs. On this occasion back in November… Read more
2025, one tracked correctly but the subsequent one with another Accor hotel a few minutes later didn't track at all so I had to contact support to have it added. Shopback calculated a cashback amount of AUD233.59 and added the transaction with cashback to occur after the stay in February. After months of following up with their support service, the cashback was declined for an unknown reason (it would be great if Shopback would tell you the exact reason!). I paid the amount for the hotel in full without coupons or discounts, and it met all eligibility criteria. I have now been offered the full, calculated cashback amount but it did take a lot of follow-up. Knowing the business model, I would encourage Shopback to review its Vendors to make sure they are doing the right thing. I imagine it would be easy for them to decline a transaction with minimal information as to why, and where they are larger transactions, that will cause consternation amongst Shopback customers. I continue to see value in the Shopback app, but like most things, keep a careful eye on the transactions you are making to ensure that you get the appropriate value.
Follow-up · My issue has now been resolved with Shopback placing the total calculated Shopback amount into my account. It was a very long wait (months) but in good faith, I am using the app again although monitoring transactions more closely. Placed an order with Binge with the offer of cash back. Paid full price for Standard subscription $149 was offered $12 cash back (No Big Deal) but dont offer if you have no intention of paying. Cash Back rejected. how many more have had this. ShopBack blames Binge, Binge blams ShopBack.
Follow-up · The way I look at it, I paid full subscription no discounts and used no coupons. I checked the cashback terms all was good and Shopback had the access to Binge page. Shopback should not use companies that are dodgy. Binge still offer Shopback beware.

Skeptical at first. Especially in these times with so many scams. After finally seeing it from Westpac, I thought I’d give it a try. Was a little disappointed when first lot of receipts were scanned and got 3 cents back. However, I have to admit it doesn’t take long, every cent adds up and if you go into the app and look for Quests etc, there are many ways to earn money. I highly recommend this to anyone who is sitting on the fence.

Shopping with Shopback has been a great experience. When I shop with TEMU on your site they except my order but won't give any money back on there any more, bit disappointed. I do a lot of shopping with TEMU

WHere is zero star? How ACCC can allow a Singaporean company to operate in financial sector who just provide misinformation and rejects Shopback even when you use company code, company gift card( which at the end is still money) . Topshopback and cashrewards never had these issues. Apply Asian rules in Australia. Pockets the saving from vendors and doesn't want to pass the customer. Dodgy
