Disappointing for the cost – Tried to support made in Australia and spent a fortune on this, but its been problematic and quite noisy. Regret this purchase unfortunately. We've had three service calls now and hoping that its issues are finally resolved. Show details
absolute rubbish dont waste your money – Our unit has been operating for 5 years (6years old) and the bearing the compressor has given way. One year out of warranty, Actron dont want to know about it. Very difficult to contact Actron and didnt get back on their 'call back option'. A very poor experience and i recommend you avoid any of their products. Show details
Brand new unit failed twice in 2 weeks – We got this system installed in the newly built Metricon home. Heating did not work on the day it was handed over (on a Friday). It was going to standby. That's all. Builder logged a service call. By Sunday, it started working on its own. On Monday we moved. On Tuesday service person called. But there was no issue to be shown. After another 10… Read more
days on a Friday, it failed again. Not working at all. Called the service company. They are not to arrive before Monday. Now, we are going to spend a whole weekend freezing in the winter. Cannot even go to Bunnings to buy a fan heater under stage 4 lockdown. Quite frustrated after spending about 24K.

Noisy mess that doesn't work well – Like many on this forum, I can attest to how LOUD this AC unit is, with that horrible rolling, moaning, thumping noise every 10-15 seconds. The installers came out to take a look and reckon that's how it's supposed to work. The unit hits 50-55dB when we're sitting INSIDE the house. Next to the unit, it runs above 80dB. EVERY 10 seconds it… Read more

Now, if it worked amazingly well, we would don some earmuffs and live with it. But it's a sweaty mess inside the house during summer when the unit just struggles.
Love it and so do our neighbours – Four weeks ago we replaced our 15 year old air conditioning system for an Actron Air ESP model. We are delighted at how nicely it cools our home on hot days and at its whisper quiet operation. The old unit was louder than a jet on take off while running and made us feel guilty about the noise we were inflicting on our neighbors when we ran it. Now… Read more
we can enjoy cool comfort without guilt, also knowing that our electricity bills will be much lower as the ESP design makes this unit much more efficient than the old one even though both have the same 23 kW capacity compressor.
We believe we made a good decision to purchase an Actron Air unit, even though it was not cheap, expecting many years of good service.
Complete Dud – We rarely used the system and for the first two years it was ok, although the air distribution was not even throughout the house. Then drama after drama with it barely working. Lots of expensive service calls which actually seemed to make things worse, really! We purchased the supposed Rolls Royce version but I think it's more like Kia Rio on 1… Read more

In short, dud product, lots of promises, servicemen who didn't seem to know what they were doing and super expensive for an appalling experience - look elsewhere! You've been warned.
