Highly recommend – The team at Adelaide RV have been fantastic to deal with. We purchased our 1st van from Adelaide RV a few years ago, and when looking to upgrade to something bigger, after much research have come back to them again. The team have gone above and beyond to ensure our next van will be exactly what we are looking for. We highly recommend visiting Adelaide RV for your next van!

refreshing experience – We bought a new Goldstream Panther recently. Were assisted by John, Dan, & Steve in the purchase, & were very impressed with their professionalism. Dave did the hand over & knew all the little details we asked. The presentation of the whole business is first class, from reception, to sales, to after sales & service. We can totally recommend this business to you. Dennis & Pam.

2nd Hand Concept Ascot – I was looking for a 2nd hand van just a bit bigger than what I had, Jonathon was most helpful. He asked what I was looking for, thought there was one coming in, contacted me when one did come in, having additions to van were no problem, it was just great. When I picked it up Dave was most informative, took me right over the van, showed me, told… Read more

me the ins and outs of everything. Checked that my car had the necessary connections, weights, brakes, etc. He helped me with setting up my mirrors. Both gentlemen were friendly, helpful, professional, supportive, and I recommend Adeladie RV to anyone looking for a good 2nd hand van.

Poor service – Our new Goldstream RV van ready for delivery 5 weeks after ordering, although the caravan was already in stock. Only 1 of 3 items on the contract actually attended to properly. When I went in to pay the balance for the van I found out that our salesman was no longer employed by them. There was no communication during the 5 week wait. When told… Read more

that the van was ready for collection we arrived to find it still being cleaned and water leaking from the plumbing. we were then informed that they could not mount the second spare tyre legally(even though the salesman had phoned someone for price and that person confirmed that it could be done) so would just have to carry it in the tow vehicle. No prior warning of this until we arrived to collect the van even though I had been in there paying the balance and had spoken to the owner. Their Operations manager hastily ran us through some of the features of the van. One of the water jerry can holders was missing as well. We had been told by the original salesman that the vans are always checked over prior to delivery but I seriously doubt this happened. Upon arriving home we found that the TV had no wiring and that we had been misled about having to switch TVs in the first place (one of the items on our contract). Contacted the Operations Manager who gave me a correct model TV and wiring, but no remote. Attempted to get TV working but couldn't. After 2 unsuccessful attempts and trips to the dealer I noticed that the box had "broken" written on it. On my third trip to the dealer I left with a functional TV and remote. I had to contact Finch for the manual, who were very helpful. We found that we only had one full set of keys for the van. Some keys that I had were not for our van. Adelaide RV promised to reimburse us for the keys that we got cut but never did. Hot water system did not work on power or gas. Found that the outside shower taps were on causing the problem of no hot water at all inside the van and the plug was disconnected under the seat for the 240V. The Operations Manager actually stated that the cleaners used this plug. I find that very hard to believe when there is a 240V socket in plain view on the wall. The fridge door did not seal. This has never been addressed or rectified by Adelaide RV although they said it would be attended to at the first service. The hand brake would not hold the van on my driveway(gentle slope). Once again I was told that it would be attended to at the first service. Adelaide RV and Goldstream RV had the van for approximately 4 months for warranty work and still returned it with a poorly functioning brake. I would have thought that brakes would be a major safety issue. During this time they apparently had addressed all of the service items and even emailed me a neatly ticked (typed) copy of a job card. Their grease gun must be able to go through paint. I greased the bushes prior to a trip and it was evident that they had not been done properly, if at all. The one good thing the the owner did was agree that the van was leaking and had it sent back to the manufacturers. They appeared to have misled Goldstream RV about when they informed us of the problems mounting the second spare legally, inferring that we were aware of the issues from the beginning and even gave them the wrong phone number to get in touch with me. Goldstream RV mounted the second spare, but it was not legal. The contract clearly stated that the second spare tyre was to be mounted on the rear of the van. Even though collection of the van after repairs was delayed for cleaning reasons the van was returned dirty and the left hand side of the van appears to have scratches all over it like it has been rubbed with a scourer. It appeared to us that once this company had our money they were not overly interested in us.
