Great service until after install – The sales service from Jay was exceptional. He was always available to answer the phone and would promptly return my calls if I missed him. He gave me all the options and made changes to the panel arrangement whenever I requested. I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. The installation was organised and the installers did a pretty good job with the install. I was left with an invoice and not much else. I didn't receive any information on the next steps I needed to take once the system was installed, such as getting monitoring setup, contacting energy provders with certain information etc.

I contacted the office and was told that I should have contacted my energy provider 2 weeks out from the install, this was never communicated to me previously. I also enquired about how I gain access to my production and consumption data and I was a told that Goodwe will email me that in the coming weeks.

Weeks later, I contacted again and was told that Adelaide Solar need to setup the monitoring data. Every time I rang the office I was told something different, absolute incompetence from each person I spoke to. After ringing often about the monitoring I was given the email address of someone in a separate company who was setting it up for me. Evidently, it was now my responsibility to ensure this part of the job gets completed.

I never once felt like I had someone advocating for me on the inside. It was just "Oh, we're not used to setting up these Goodwe inverter's", whatever that is supposed to mean.

2 months on, I still have no monitoring data for my own solar, nor do they have any idea if my system is operating optimally, and no one seems to care.

Very disappointing, I wouldn't recommend.

UPDATE ===== Tyson rectified the issue and came to my house to setup the app and home kit. It's now all up and running.

I've increased my rating to 4 stars, it was the slow and minimal communication that was the issue for me. I wanted confidence to know that someone was working on the issue.

UPDATE ===== The monitoring was rectified but my 10kW system is limited to 5kW, which took 3 months to determine because the monitoring wasn't working. I have constantly asked for assistance, and Tyson has absolutely no interest in helping me fix the issue. He never returns my calls or emails, next step is speaking to a manager and getting this sorted. I can't wait until this is over so I can forget that I ever used this company.
