hybrid inverter (which I paid an extra $300 for) and promised a 9-module system (~42kWh) under a promotion.

On installation day, they turned up and only installed 6 modules (27.96kWh). Nobody warned me, and nobody gave me the choice to reconsider. When I pulled them up on it, they hid behind quotation fine print, denied what the sales rep promised, and refused to provide any proof that I had ever agreed to a scaled-down 6-module system.

I tried for weeks to resolve this reasonably directly with them, but they showed zero willingness to compromise. Save yourself the headache: do not trust what they tell you over the phone, and get every single word in writing before paying a cent.

Very disappointing experience. I signed a contract with Arise Solar, paid a $200 deposit, and waited 8 months for the installation. of honouring the original agreement, I was asked to sign a new contract at a much higher price.

The work was left unfinished, with holes made in my wall, and communication throughout the process was poor. I found the customer service unprofessional, and I had to spend a lot of time chasing updates.

Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Arise Solar. I hope the company improves its communication, honours its commitments, and treats future customers more professionally.

tiles and I needed to claim on that at a future date they told under no circumstances do installers go on the roof. How that can say that when they were not there I don't know.

I was happy that Arise sent me the Fox warrenty certs, and CCEW with out having to be asked.

At the time of install I provided a cover that goes on the battery to protect the cables. I became aware from other peoples installation's pictures etc on social media that there is also a cover available that protects the high voltage cables etc at the base of the inverter and that these covers had been provided by their installers. This cover was not provided by Arise. I wrote to them on 27 April and received no response and again on 16 May. This time they called me and I was put through to a lady who I think was on the installation side. She said she would find out about the cover and get back to me. As of early June I am still waiting.

Problem was finally resolved with the assistance of the staff member it was a bit challenging as I not familiar with this type of situation but was helped through it to achieve a successful outcome Show details ·  1

No real dislikes overall other than some concerns around the blackout side of things the installers were very good quick and polite they came up with a solution for the location on site and were clearly very experienced in what they were doing Show reply

Stan was fantastic to deal with, professional and friendly as he remotely fixed a situation I had accidentally created with my app. Stan also recommended several courses of action to repair an issue with my system whereby the batteries were not registering as being connected. 1st class company to do business with. Totally kept up to date with what was progressing all the way through by office staff. Installers were totally professional and did an outstanding installation. Leaving this warning for others: once they install the unit and get paid, good luck reaching them if anything goes wrong. The warranty is basically worthless — the company just doesn’t respond

They are ok to deal with from a sales point of view, which isn't surprising, and would be concerning if this was the area of concern. related to the install of a system 4 months ago, the manufacturer has told me that the installer needs to come to the property to resolve given it's been 4 months.

'[Name Removed]' refused to provide the installer details, and refused to do anything without me getting an email from the Manufacturer explicitly stating exactly what needs to be done because "how could our technician know how to fix it otherwise" yeah if the technician is incapable of diagnostics I don't think they should be doing electrical work. Anyway when I stated again the issue was an AC wiring issue '[Name Removed]' said "Either send an email from the manufacturer or we won't help" and hung up - I assume the Indian call centre doesn't realise that that's about as blatant of an ACCC breach as you get.

Called again to a new technician who told me there's no complaints process and he'd "call the installer" and let me know, again refusing to just give me the installers details and said "I'll see if the installer can go visit the site" not that he'd get them to contact me - sorry but I'd rather not have someone randomly show up at my house to do electrical work without communicating with me.

Anyway long story short, if you want a cheap install go for gold with these guys, but if something goes wrong you'll learn the lesson I just did, they couldn't care less about providing you support because they already have your money and they are just "the retailer and have no obligations to fix workmanship issues as that's the installers issue" thanks '[Name Removed]' that's a convenient line when you also refuse to provide the installers details.

So anyway left with a half functional house due to the issue, no clear path forward, and a heap of regret that I used these Muppets.

Genuinely spend a little more, support a local electriciqn/installer, trust me, it's worth it.

done, quote, and install the new meter box, which happened by 15 May. Since then, we haven't been provided with an install date, despite following up 7 times by email and escalating a formal complaint to their support team. Have been completed ghosted since 6 June (16 days and counting). About to lodge a formal complaint with the Office of Fair Trading.

UPDATE: 8 JULY Still no install date. Terrible. Office of Fair Trading involved.

Consumers be very aware of arise solar.I had Fox ess batteries installed 13th of January 2026 and extra panels, I had a quote including blackout protection for essential circuit, also in my tax invoice , and has not been installed 6 months later. , or someone will call tomorrow, nothing ever gets done, never return calls , they lie about blackout protection for essential circuit already been installed, and has not been installed. On day of installation, I get the contracted installer tell me that arise solar wants to speak to me on installers phone,and said arise solar tried to call my phone ( checked my phone zero missed calls) . They said I had to pay extra $1155 for extra wiring. On my tax invoice the $1155 just says plus additional charges. I checked the law on this, them not stating exactly what the $1155 was for on a tax invoice is illegal.Rang Arise solar on April 16th 2026 , as what this $1155 was for to be told , it's for the blackout protection for essential circuit. So yep they have charged twice for it and still not installed. Warning to anyone, do not trust this company at all .
