I was very happy with the entire process. SunBoost Solar were very professional and kept me informed throughout. The planning and installation was seamless. The installation team was exceptionally considerate and careful. Being an older home of +70 yrs, I did have some questions/concerns which were quickly addressed by the Sunboost team. was recommended from a family member who also had a positive experience. Their pricing was also very completive. I'm glad I went with SunBoost Solar for my home and family. Thank you!
I was dealing with Tom from the start of my process and his communication, honesty, feedback and help has been amazing. I can't recommend him and Sunboost as whole highly enough.
I highly recommend Sunboost, they have just installed a battery and solar panels at my home and have been great to deal with from start to finish. Their installation team leader Kamal did a first class job.

Very happy with my new Sunboost battery. The installation team were excellent.
Very pleased with Sunboost and their service. Their FoxESS system worked perfectly from installation and we haven't use power from the grid since. Great workers and installation.
Booked in a battery. The install was carried out in the same week. Installer and setup were great. Happy with service
The whole process went fairly smooth. Jake my first contact was very helpful in my decision on battery and solar panels. Installation was delayed but on the day it went smooth and installers were very clean. The after installation help was fantastic. Coulton was extremely helpful with a few minor problems but he sorted everything out and was a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend Sunboost Show details
Sunboost installed a 20Kw SoFar battery system, we are very happy with the performance. We requested Sunboost to program the Inverter so the no power is taken from the batteries during the night from 11:30pm, to 6:30am during the 4 winter month. this request was completed nicely and we are happy Show reply
The installers did a great job installing panels on the roof of a 2 storey house and the battery in the garage. Show reply
My sincere regards to your team Hassan and family, the electrician, and the entire installation crew for their genuine workmanship. Special thanks to Brett and Dwayne for their work behind the scenes. Honestly, Sunboost has a mixed reputation around Dubbo, but I chose Sunboost because of the practicality and willingness to negotiate. I didn’t… Read more · 1

We used Sunboost to install our solar system a couple of years ago and just last week we used them to purchase and install our new solar battery to fit with our current solar system. We have had no problems or issues with Sunboost and in fact if I’ve had to call them at anytime for small issues they have helped us instantly. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone wanting solar system for their property. Show reply

impressed with Bing, the installer and the follow up before and after the installation with Heston and 3 days later a further follow up from Ian at Sunboost Perth
Follow-up · The replacement Inverter and battery pack were installed just a few days after receiving my previous power bill. Subsidies before 01/05/2026. I would suggest anybody who wants to put in Solar Batteries to use Sunboost and install this system before that date.
Follow-up · Govt Subsidy of $13500. Clean and tidy installation and the unit is amazing. We have only used 9c of power on average a day since, this is used to power the inverter. Too late now if you want one, as I doubt you have time to have it installed before 30/04/26, when the subsidy then becomes useless in my view. Go big or not at all.
I signed a contract with sunboost 13th oct and paid a deposit. I rang the middle of December and they said we can't do it until next year. I rang again on the 13th January and they told me unless I signed a new contract and paid an extra $550 they… Read more
wouldn't do the job that I already had a contract for. Then just before installation date they then rang and said I had to pay an additional $250 which I refused. I finally had the batteries installed yesterday and the installers did a great job. But dealing with sunboost this time was terrible and I would not recommend them.
Follow-up · Have not heard from them at all. I was supposed to get $250 for being a repeat customer as we had solar done first then batteries 3 years later.

expectations in terms of performance and has been a valuable addition to my home.
At the time of installation, there was a minor issue with a missing cable cover due to initial unavailability. However, I would like to particularly acknowledge Emelia for her excellent support in resolving this matter. She took the initiative to source the required component and arranged for it to be delivered promptly. I was able to install it without any issues, and it completed the setup perfectly.
I would like to extend my thanks to Emelia and the broader Sunboost team for your professionalism, responsiveness, and commitment to customer satisfaction. Your assistance ensured that the entire installation process was ultimately a success.
Thank you once again for your service.

Carlos from Sunboost got our Foxess Battery 42klw installation organised quickly. System seems to be working well. Been about 2 months now. However, I found on our Origin Energy app we were still drawing power from the grid. went to Sunboost to find out why and they were supposed to get back to me but wasn’t getting any answers from them. … Read more
After nearly 2 weeks I worked out that it was the off peak hot water. Drawing about 3 to 13klwh per day. I rang Sunboost and told them I thought I had worked out the problem, asked why this was not disconnected from the off peak meter. When they came back to me they said they didn’t do that as it depended on the size of the System. They knew I had 12klw of solar panels and the large battery so if they weren’t going to do it they should have at least told me that the hot water is on separate metering and will be drawing grid power. I don’t really know if it was an oversight on their part and they made the excuse or not, seemed pretty important to me. In fact in the first month when I was sorting this out we drew 32klwh of grid power which cost me more than selling them 811klwh. The installer didn’t mention it either. I had to get our usual electrician out. It took about 5 minutes and $180 to fix this. Haven’t drawn any power from the grid since. The electrician also said to me that if he was doing the installation he would have used double insulated cable. Our battery is in full sun so I have to find out if that meets Australian standards. Also, there is a cover that connects to the bottom of the inverter to protect all the wiring. I didn’t get this. Sunboost told me it wasn’t in my kit. I told them I still wanted one. They weren’t interested. Again, very important and Foxess have been supplying this since the start of the year. I am 4 weeks into a 6 week holiday so will follow up with Foxess when I am home.
I contacted Sunboost at the end of 2024 to purchase a solar system. We were about to take possession of our new home and due to other work taking priority, the system was installed late March 2025. Apart from two issues, the installation was carried out competently and smoothly. Most importantly, the installation was followed by an above average… Read more
wet winter and no roof leaks were detected. The app provided with the system is great and confirms the amount of power generated by the system. The benefits of the system are also well reflected in our power bill. However, the issues that took a long time to resolve were: 1. Ours is a two-storey house. The cable feeding power from the panels on the roof had to exit the wall above the second-floor slab and then enter the garage roof, that projects out from the upper floor, to where the inverter was installed. I was unhappy with the appearance of this cable which was uncovered and twisted untidily at an angle across the wall before entering the roof. I was offered various solutions such as painting the cable the same colour as the wall, but this was unsatisfactory and my view was it should have been enclosed within a cable cover and run vertically down the wall. While the installer agreed to do this there were many phone calls and missed appointments. The installer claimed he had difficulty obtaining suitable cover material etc. In the end I went to Bunnings and purchased the parts myself and advised the installer that I had them. Still many more phone calls and promises not kept, but eventually the installer came in December 2025 and fitted the cover. He also reimbursed the cost of the material. 2. Broken Garage Ceiling. One of the installation team put too much weight on a ceiling fan and it broke a hole in the garage ceiling. I was given every assurance this will be repaired and that they will come as many times as necessary to ensure a smooth invisible repair. Unfortunately, the solar installers did the repair themselves and they didn’t have the appropriate knowledge or skills to make an acceptable standard repair. As this was a new house, I contacted the installer advising the repair was unsatisfactory and that they need to engage a professional to redo the repair. As with the cable issue there were many phone calls and missed appointments along with a suggestion that I engage a professional myself and the installer will reimburse me. I showed the installer again when he visited the house to install cable cover and he took some photos advising he would engage a professional tradesman to redo the repair. The same pattern continued and I eventually did engage a competent tradesman to redo an invisible repair. I then contacted the installer and sent him the paid invoice with before and after photos and my bank details. Twice he advised I will “pay that tonight”. No payment was forthcoming. To be fair to Sunboost, over all of this time, Ethan from Sunboost regularly proactively contacted me to check how the installer was responding to my concerns. Unfortunately, he didn’t seem to be able to influence their response. After getting no response from the installer for reimbursement, I contacted Sunboost for assistance. Ethan was no longer available so I ended up speaking to Michael. Michael created a case for me and undertook to have the matter resolved without undue delay. To save me from further delay waiting for the installer to respond, Michael arranged for me to be reimbursed directly by Sunboost. While it took a while, in the end, Sunboost did the right thing by me making up the failures of the installer. Thank you, Michael.

Noah the Senior Solar Consultant has done a fantastic job supporting my post installation requirements, specifically for my bird mesh, awning and blackout protection. His experience and knowledge for my product requirements were invaluable, and helped me to make an informed purchasing decision
While the system installed by Sunboost works very well the after sales service is about the worst I have come across, wanted an extra component for 'Black out protection' but this company didn't call back to any enquiries at all. Not interested was the sign. Very sad that a big selling company that continues to advertise as helpful is not very helpful at all. Derek Cheshire South Australia

I will not recommend sunboost solars for anyone. They install bad old batteries and when you try to contact them. They will vanish for ever. They did for us in hunter region and we are still getting high electricity bills. They are not replying.
