I had an excellent experience dealing with Grant today. He was extremely helpful, professional and genuinely committed to resolving my issue as quickly as possible.
Sharon was amazing, supportive, caring and professional. Very clear with questions so I felt understood and very prompt responding to resolving my problems. I would not hesitate to call Sharon again because of the confidence she showed by her amazing communication and care to resolve the trouble I had with my Solar Battery.
Battery installation. Had a battery installed on the 22/05/2026. New battery was wired to existing solar panels by Sunboost. Because the battery smart meter was incorrectly placed by installers, neither solar or battery are supplying power to house or grid. Despite over 20 emails and countless emails, Sunboost are yet to rectify the issue. Will now be contacting Consumer protection. Avoid Sunboost at all costs, the after sales and support is non existent.

Michael kept me informed regularly for the battery installation, being a remote location. Installers arrived on time and the installation was performed efficiently. On start-up there was a software issue which Michael arranged the necessary rectification. A good experience all round.

The error was Fail safe and apparently some backend support was needed to transit to Smart solar system.

My system went into fail safe mode. I rang SunBoost and spoke to Troy. He was very patient and helpful and had me back up and running in 10 minutes. Great job, thanks, Troy.
Follow-up · System has worked the way it should ever since. Apparently there was some kind of network upgrade that took my system offline. The full details were not explained.
Wilson was very helpful, he called me quickly and helped with all our concerns, however we have now been waiting for several weeks for the system to fixed, our electricity keeps going out and we have had no help from Sunboost, the apps which are used to monitor are very difficult to follow and use
Follow-up · It has been a terrible experience taking nearly a year to fix the battery system which was installed incorrectly from the begging costing us an excessive amount of money in monthly bills. We would not recommend anyone go through this with Sunboost.

contact about your project etc ,the electrican they used to do our job was so helpfull and suggested we rearrange the new panels away from trees shade etc and modify our plans etc ,also if you buy from sunboost they give you a login to a portal for your project and it shows where your approvals etc are at and updated daily with lots of information on there, energex takes 3 to 4 weeks to give approvals at moment due to the massive amount of people getting new batterys and /or solar panels too in qld since july ,i was referred by friends to subnboost and will buy again from them

All the people I spoke to about the product, service, installation and after care were great. The installation on the day was very professional, turned up on time & was at my house for about 7 hours. he then ran me threw how to download the app & connect it up.
So far so good, on completion they found the inverter to be faulty which was replaced under warranty. Happy with the service but being aged we found it difficult to communicate and understand the people calling. I am sure they had the same frustrations. All in all happy with the overall service and fitment.
Our ESY battery had issues with the circuit breaker. It wasn't immediately clear if the problem was with the hardware or installation, but Jasper at Sunboost worked together with ESY to provide a solution. It's a pity that the ESY app didn't report that the circuit breaker had tripped, otherwise I would have been able to get onto it much more… Read more

My system was poorly installed and was disconnected after being considered unsafe/uncompliant by Energex. I received no Safety Certificate! It's been 3 months now without a confirmed fix date. Sunboost has recognized the issue but has been extremely slow in follow-up. Still hopeful they will come fix it soon and I can give positive update.

If I could rate zero stars I would. Had our solar panels installed in April 2025 Installer left the premises and advised all was working. Shortest explanation on how the system worked in history. Received our electricity bill only to be told there was no solar activity and in excess of $800 power bill. Never worked from installation until… Read more
September 2025. Reported to Sunboost who advised they would following up compensation. Have been advised today after 12 months later there will be no compensation and they feel they have done there job. Would never recommend this company for customer service !

Absolute worst after sales experience. Had a battery installed with no issue. Job was complete in Feb, noticed an issue with one of the batteries not working correctly, took 4 months to order a replacement and have been waiting 3 months (so far) for the replacement battery to be installed.

But this service/maintenance that was recently carried out has left us very disappointed. We feel that we didn't receive a proper job for the $700.00 we paid. In fact, you seemed more interested in us paying the $700 before the service was actually carried out.
The technicians were only on the roof for a total of 15 minutes. Yes, I timed it. I can't see how you can properly inspect and clean 16 panels that were on 3 different areas of the roof in that short amount of time.
We have 6 panels on west side of main roof, 5 panels on north side of main roof, and 5 panels on north side of 2nd story. I'm not sure that the technician went onto 2nd story to do an inspection and panel clean.
Before the technicians arrived, I messaged them to confirm they were still attending. I also asked them the approximate timeframe they would need to carry out service. I was told 1 - 1 and 1/2 hours, depending on condition of panels.
When they arrived I greeting them and pulled out a list of what was included in complete system check. They glanced at it but didn't seem too interested. I went inside and let them set up their equipment.

The team at Sunboost were fantastic to deal with. Roger, Dwayne and Grant were friendly, responsive and took the time to guide me through each step of the process, explaining everything clearly along the way. The unit is working great, and it feels so good to be using power from the sun saving us money on electricity! I’m very happy with the whole experience and would definitely recommend the Sunboost team.
