The service has been exceptional. We initially went solar for environmental reasons, and the follow-up from Resinc has been incredible. It’s great knowing that if I have a blackout, I’ll still have power. Some tiles were broken during installation, but Resinc replaced them very quickly and have been very proactive. Over the last six months since someone was out here last, I am realising the gains of my battery and system. Follow-up · Installation was completed in less than a day. Install was postponed due to torrential weather, but the process was easy, with a clear explanation of the system and app use once installed. Post installation support has been great with follow up appointment to ensure we are getting the best out of our solar and battery.

electricity bill was also halved, and that was after only having the system installed for a month and a half of the billing quarter.
Follow-up · The communications have been excellent with plenty of after call contact. just had a minor issue with the battery LED display not appearing, Resinc have been in touch several times with reports back from the battery manufacturer. We engaged with 5 different installers, including RESINC, we found that 3 of the installers were just looking for a sale and didn't feel comfortable moving forward. The other two companies, of which one was RESINC gave us reassurance on the product, install and longevity of the product and after care service. RESINC were the most expensive on a… Read more
like for like basis than all the installer quotes we received, the difference between the lowest and highest other quotes was $10k and $15k. We went with RESINC due to the track record of quality installations. Overall we are happy with RESINC but we did have some issues with day 1 of the install, which after some pressure, RESINC resolved and the end installation was great. We had an electrician come to our home to complete work separate to the solar system and the electrician commented on what a great install it was and one of the best he has seen.
A frustration with the process is that post installation we needed to get a smart meter, the RESINC installer told us a smart meter will fit in our current meter box. However, when the contractor came to install it, he showed us there was never going to be enough room. We had to get the meter box rejigged, which cost extra money and time, ultimately resulting in not getting the true benefit of the solar and battery until 10 weeks after the install. It would have been helpful to have known all this in advance of the install, we could have arranged the meter box upgrade and smart meter install prior to the solar install. I don't see this as a unique situation to RESINC but probably more of an industry wide issue.
A separate issue (again not directly RESINC fault), was no final meter was completed when the smart meter was installed and AGL sent us an estimated final bill, which was no different to our previous bills. We challenged this and AGL had the returned meters read which said the estimate was accurate (to the cent) which is impossible as we had solar and battery for 2 of the 3 months of the bill, again we challenged this and AGL told us we should not have switched the solar on until the smart meter was installed and that we broke the law. This encounter resulted in us being approx. $250 out of pocket paying for electricity we never used. This is something solar installers should / would know in advance, with the 6 week lead time we had on the install, we could have had a final meter read, install the new smart meter and be charged correctly post solar and battery install.
The aftercare from RESINC has been great and overall we are happy we chose RESINC and do recommend them if you want a premium installation and great aftercare service.

installer based on service. From the get go it was apparent that RESINC were customer attentive and focussed. A zoom meeting was set up in February and we went over my usage. Based on my usage a 10kwh Anker Solix X1 battery was recommended. An installation date was set. Even though they installed the system after 1/5/2026 they honoured the rebate that was applicable prior to 1/5. The installation went like clockwork. The installer guided me through the app. A follow up zoom call was arranged two weeks later. They fielded my questions and showed me how to input my TOU times and rates. A home visit was arranged in July. We went over data. Talked about the best rates particularly supply rates and off peak rates. Alternatives including free saver and VPP plans. My current provider was adjudged to be the best fit at present. They said that they will check in on me every year to see how the battery is going and possible ways to get better outcomes. I have found throughout the process that RESINC have been highly attentive and informative. With service like that what more could you ask for?

The after sales service has been largely positive, with follow up check-ins to ensure we are getting good use of the app and maximising our savings and energy management. The post in-person check-in, which lead to this review, was mixed; rather than providing any meaningful advice, it seemed to be largely focused on gathering feedback from us as users and gathering a testimonial/review. Again, consistent with the initial sales service, it was too heavy handed despite the two men being pleasant enough. In terms of the app mentioned earlier, it's simple to use and easy to understand, even though I don’t check it often. Our first bill showed a substantial saving -- going from $300 to $30, so it's well worth it. I'd definitely recommend solar to anyone interested in saving money, increasing the resale value of their property and reducing their environmental impact, and though it's been a relatively short period, Resinc's equipment, installation and availability for support seems solid enough.
