Hi my aeg 3050 compressor won’t restart when the pressure gets low enough in the tank l have over ridden the overload but still same problem. Is there another valve that I can replace

And it’s not a loose wire. Hopefully someone knows which valve to replace.

Hi Doug T Some analysis would narrow down any fault or setting. Does it start with no pressure in the tank? If it does at what point doesn't it restart when the pressure drops? Sounds like the pressure switch or it's setting ... is the warranty??

No warranty but I am a sparky so I believe it is a pressure switch/valve and have tried all the easy options. I would like to repair it if I can so hopefully you can help.

Mine did the same. It was a loose wire inside the electrical box. AEG don’t bother to secure it so it flops around inside. Mine had made contact with another electrical component and would trip the breaker every time it was turned on. I would recommend getting an electrician to look at it if you’re unqualified as it’s all 240v. Good luck!

My compressor keeps cutting out why would this be

TECHCHECK

Hi Jared....a compressor will cut out when it reaches its pressure limit in the tank usually round 120 to 145 psi and then cut back on after you've used some air to maintain tank pressure. Is this what you mean?

No my compressor just keeps cutting out before it gets to 100

Hi Jared Is this an electrical overload or pressure. If it reaches 100psi and cuts off the would be a set screw to increase this on the module. Not in the shed to verify. Is there a pressure setting in the instructions?
