Affordable Tree Loppers

Very misleading – Rang affordable tree loppers to get a quote to get 1mtr 1/2 trimmed of 2 pencil pines. I got several txt’s from [Name Removed] organizing time and date. On the day, 2 workers arrived at my door so I took them around to the backyard for an estimate. I was told that the job would take approx 3 to 4 hours and it will take 4 workers to complete the job. I thought it was a bit of over estimating but I’m unable to climb ladders so I took their word for it. The quote was $1100 and the job could be done on the day. After some discussion I agreed to do it as I had been trying to get it done for some time with a lot of no shows. After one hour…the job was done! I asked them to re quote as no other workers appeared and they did the job in a third of the time he estimated! I asked them to review it several times and all they said was that his boss (via txt to his workers) said that was the price and I agreed to it. I told them that they advertise they give a discount to pensioners…I told them I’m retired and would appreciate the discount…..this fell on deaf ears. The next morning I noticed that the top of the pencil pines are un even and needed to be fixed, I txt’d [Name Removed] asking her to arrange for them to come back and fix it….nothing from her. They don’t really know anything about customer service. My neighbor asked them to quote on removing 2 trees…I promptly told her that they are dubious people to deal with. Affordable rang her several times each time reducing the quote from $1800 down to $800 trying to get the job. I told my neighbor that their workmanship is doubtful and not worth the drama. Don’t waste your time dealing with them.
