with photos, compared to others I received they were very competitive. Once I accepted the quote had great communication on when the job would be undertaken, even after in my area we had massive rain which impacted the first booking time. When we got home after the work had been completed, I was in awe! So tidy and you would not have known the amount of hard work that was done! Usually, I come home once a trade has been in and gone “really OMG what a mess” for me to clean up! Not at all this time!! Even some personally special decoration that was on the tree had been saved as I asked; were at my front door! Thank you again Jim’s Trees!!!!

Disappointing service. Job not completed – Recently I interviewed Seb for a quote for a large tree to be pruned to half its size. We discussed why this tree needed trimming. quote of $1850 as reasonable, and agreed to permit him to do the job. Seb issued a quote for the $1850 . I was under the impression that this quote was for the full job, even though he did state that he would do the job in two sittings, as to not stress the tree. He did not state this amount of $1850 was for the first cutting only, and the quote did not reflect this in any way. When Seb finished the 1st pruning, and had cleared up, he asked me for $1850, which I paid. I was very surprised about this, and the warning bells began. I normally pay when the complete job is finished. Seb arranged to come back on the 6/1/23, and it was then revealed that another $1850 would be payable. I contacted him by telephone to discussed my annoyance that the original had shown, with no indication the full quote was really $3700.00,. If this was the case I would have got two other quotes. I suggested to Seb that he complete the work without further payment, as I believe I have been hoodwinked. I am now left with half a tree not cut, and quite disgusted with the service.

Everything I had requested to be removed had been done but I saw a couple of extra spores on the tree trunks that I also needed removing, plus dead palms on the palm tree situated on the berm of the property. All this was removed and then the debris was cleaned up and loaded onto the truck. Looking outside you would never have known they had been there; the yard looked amazing and the light coming through the windows was gratifying to see as all the heavy palms had obscured natural light. Again I was asked to have a look around and see if I was satisfied which I certainly was. Initially I thought the quote was high but it was well worth every dollar spent because they did an amazing job and I would have no hesitation in recommending their professional services to any one of my friends. Excellent service. Stumps were removed quickly and for a competitive price. Jim's were nice enough to NOT leave a mess after the job and were kind enough to walk me through the whole process before coming out.

Gurjeet and his team did a great job pruning and trimming two large palm trees in my backyard. They were punctual and professional, kept me up-to-date on their progress, put the palm fronds through their woodchipper, and swept up all the leaves and debris afterwards. Very happy with their work, and would have no hesitation in using them again, or recommending them to anyone else.

The team from Jims was really nice. They did a top job removing an out of control banana tree clump on a fenceline, that i myself couldnt do with my handsaw, and cleaned up the area to look spotloss.

Poor service – Unfortunately 4 out of 7 trees removed have regrown. Very disappointed because no one wishes to help me. I will need to hire someone again so they never regrow.

Clean up – I thought that the 3 guys could have spent some extra time cleaning up the yard. Yesterday I spent 2.5hrs cleaning up after them. One said the quote was to low. Well I didn't quote the job so they needed to ware the cost. In the past I have done thousands of quotes on car accidents. But never under quoted. cleared and tree needed to be cut down. I asked for a price as is, not for me to do the work - which was excessive. It felt like he was in my opinion just after an easy job without the hard yards. I personally cleared area and cut the trees to ground level. He spent 5mins on each tree (so total of approx. 10mins) to grind the stumps away and a quick use of the petrol blower vac I was charged $550 for a total of 30mins work start to finish. Now looking at Jim's website I have seen the approx. costing at $200/hr rang Jim's to no support. Avoid this franchise.

Jim's Tree and Stump Removal service was efficient in completing removal of a tree and preparing a path for a digger to reach a point for trenching for a sewer repair. Branches and shrubs were chipped and removed. Clean up was excellent.

Turned up bang on time, enquired what we specifically wanted, talked us through what they thought and really did a great job. Even when we asked for a little extra on another tree, they were helpful through and through. They even removed all the little bits off the garden right at the end... just to tidy the place up. Gurjeet (Gary) was very prompt in attending to our issue with removal of our yucca stumps which had taken up the complete front yard. His team effectively removed the stumps by drilling then leveling the ground. We were very impressed with the work ethic and professionalism.

Gurjeet Singh and his colleagues did an excellent job with a very large and tricky tree which had a very large branch that split off and crushed tiles on the roof. They caused minimal damage to surrounding garden. Gave a fair quote and stuck to it. Came promptly to quote late on a Saturday and returned on Monday. A friendly and efficient fellow. Will call him back for the next tree to remove.
