Worst bond cleaning service ever – The worst service ever. I booked a bond clean and paid 10 days in advance. And then 2 days before I receive an email saying they cannot find any cleaners to do the job. I had to cancel and find new cleaners with one day notice, which I did whereas these so called professional couldn't... I do not recommend UrbanYou as they seem to be highly unreliable. I would give 0 star if I could.

Terrible service – Cancelled my end of lease clean the day before at 5.05pm because no cleaners could be found (despite booking 2 weeks in advance). Had to then arrange new cleaner with no notice. Conveniently their office hours are until 5pm so no one I could call… absolutely terrible and would never ever recommend.

Bad Experience – Don't use these people, i paid for a cleaning service, for 2 cleaners, only 1 came, couldnt finish the job, havent heard from them since although i have repeatedly asked for when a cleaner could return to finish the job. Have been ghosted.

charge, and I was told the job would take 5 hrs but they finished everything in 3.5 hrs. They also pointed out issues with the rangehood and mould growth and rot in certain areas of the house and advised how I can fix it. Would definitely use again.

Satisfaction guarantee is a process – Showed up late and did terrible job missed spots I'd specifically asked (paid extra) for. Then took nearly a week to respond to my complaint so i had to do it all myself then offered a tiny portion of sum paid as refund. When i asked for additional refund at least to cover the time i spent cleaning they just came up with excuses, eventually after much back and forth adequate refund was made.  Show reply

Unpleasant cleaning experience – I had an unpleasant experience with this service. It was two hours of “cleaning” a small apartment. to clean and all have been great but this service by far was quite unacceptable. One star is because the ladies were polite. I gave my feedback and the service wanted to send the cleaners back at no cost after I showed some photos. I sent photos but I refused to have the cleaners come back. I also said I wasn’t asking for compensation. I will stick with Airtasker and chalk this down to a lesson learned to not use this service ever again. Oh and if you create a profile on their website you can’t delete it either.

Not happy – They called it Aged Care Cleaning. I am aged with mobility issues but i can move quicker than these people. My little unit could be sparkling in 1hour. They required 2 hours. A joke!

On Tuesday, May 11th, I contacted Urban You to inform them that I needed to skip my last cleaning appointment. I was informed that if I canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, I would be charged the full amount. Understanding this policy, I arranged for a friend to be present at my home during the cleaning. Unfortunately, Urban You still canceled my appointment without any notice and proceeded to charge me the full amount. This not only wasted my friend's time but also cost me money that I shouldn't have had to spend.

In my frustration, I called Urban You to address the issue, and they assured me that they would investigate the matter. I distinctly remember requesting that them to check the call record. However, the outcome of this investigation remains unknown, and I feel like my concerns were not taken seriously.

Adding insult to injury, just yesterday I booked another service for today at 4 PM. I patiently waited for two hours, but no one showed up. I received no phone calls or email notifications regarding any cancellation. When I tried to contact their service line, nobody answered. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of communication is completely unacceptable.

Given these repeated disappointments, I have reached a point where I can no longer tolerate the poor service provided by Urban You. I will not be using their services again in the future. The inconveniences, wasted time, and lack of accountability have left me thoroughly dissatisfied as a customer. I would strongly advise others to seek alternative cleaning service providers to avoid similar frustrations.

Never showed up- TWICE – I organised a clean on a Friday. No one came. I called. Lots of apologies and promises to come Monday - if possible. Notified by email Monday morning that my job had been “skipped”. No follow up call. No reason given. Nothing. Very unreliable and unprofessional business

6.45am with no communication before hand. One of the cleaners did not have a clue everything she did I had to get the other cleaner to go back and do again. They packed the car and I had to chase them as they needed to clean the bathroom again!!! This was suppose to be a gift from my family and it turned into a nightmare...SIMPLE DONT USE URBANYOU!

Do not use urban you – Was supposed to be a one off spring clean. They didn’t clean the bathrooms and lots of other things not done . Have been arguing with company, who offered me refund of $50 (525 service) which they will refund to my credit card which they then told me they still had saved, despite turning off the recording when I had to pre-pay it!! They were supposed to be there for 10.5 hours but were not there that long. Very very dodgy.

Had a couple of texts during the week saying they couldn't find a cleaner again and its now the day before the next booked clean and they have charged a payment for a clean my card. I thought great, they have found a cleaner so called them and they advised that no, still no cleaner had been booked and they wouldn't be getting one for this clean either. I asked about them taking my money and they advised that is the process. Stay away!

Don't touch them - hopeless service – I booked a clean at least a week in advance as I was going away and having people to stay in my house. I had to pay upfront on the day of booking. before my guests arrived. The booking was for 1pm and at 1.10pm I got a call from Urban Company to say that the cleaner had a car issue and that they could not make it. I also got an email from them saying the cleaner had a health issue so obviously it was all a lie. I told them that it was urgent that I got a cleaner and although the person I spoke to pretended to try and help me they were unable to get someone to come and so once again I ended up cleaning my house on the day of travel for my guests. They are clearly a joke and and I would most definitely NEVER use them again. Don't take the chance.

Terrible service and unprofessional cleaners – Sales person quotation was not followed by the cleaners. We paid for 7 hours and they left in 4.5 hours with out finishing the job. Cleaners are 2 Indian ladies for an accurate description. PLEASE DONOT USE URBAN YOU

Terrible company, very unprofessional – I engaged them as an NDIS participant and they cancelled 3 weeks in a row via text at 7pm the night before. Extremely unprofessional and disorganised. Not worth the effort

Unreliable. Charge before a service they never deliver – I made a booking and paid in advance and on the day of service the cleaner didn’t show up and they failed to send a replacement!! They don’t care about the time you waste waiting for their workers and prepping the place for the job to be done. They’d only offer a refund that won’t be paid for another 10 days. Stay away the most unreliable service ever.

Terrible - Unprofessional Office/booking Staff – Do not use this company. They send gardeners out in flooding torrential rain and charge you for the service, then try and make replacement last minute services on same days of flooding torrential rain. They do not answer phones or respond to text messages and then get upset and hang up when you raise your concern about the lack of professionalism with regards to the kind of bookings they make.

inspection the next day so this was a big inconvenience! Many reviewers here also report the same thing so I’m convinced this was not a “one off” mistake. They haven’t had a good google review in 2 years, go figure!

Do not use the services of UrbanYou! – We have recently relocated from Western Australia and unfortunately made the mistake of signing an annual contract with UrbanYou. clean, the two gentleman that attended to our property advised us that they unfortunately broke a glass bowl and a vase. How this could happen is still beyond us, but to make matters worse, they left after 75min having been paid for 2 hours. When we got back home, we had to phone them to return to the property as they have not even vacuumed the living room properly (to name the first thing we saw). Both cleaners had a terrible attitude towards us after being asked to return, stopping just shy of verbally abusing us.

When asked if they will resolve the issue re the broken items, we were told that they will refund us for our clean (as we are not happy) and that their insurance will replace the broken goods. That was the last communication we had from them. After a few days we followed up the matter with UrbanYou, who told us they were not aware of any issues. Since then, they have done nothing to replace the broken goods other than numerous phone calls + they charged us for another clean which they advised us they cannot fulfil!!! If you read the comments this seems to be their modus operandi, charge you in advance and then they cannot provide the service

We are bound by a contract with them but seeking legal advice as to their conduct.
