Poor clean, poor service, don’t care for customersPaid for spring clean.
Was told that a team would do the clean over 6 hours.
2 guys showed up with a mop and vaccum, no cleaning products.
Left the house to them for 6 hours.
Came back at 1pm, only 1 guy left and nothing in the house was clean.
Told him to just leave and then cleaned the whole house down.
When I asked for refund, they still charged me $400 because the guys were at my property for 6 hours and only refunded me $385 after I sent through 35 photos of the house not being clean.
It’s not 100 per cent customer satisfaction, don’t go with these guys, they’re a scam.

Unfortunately, Urban You still canceled my appointment without any notice and proceeded to charge me the full amount. This not only wasted my friend's time but also cost me money that I shouldn't have had to spend. In my frustration, I called Urban You to address the issue, and they assured me that they would investigate the matter. I distinctly remember requesting that them to check the call record. However, the outcome of this investigation remains unknown, and I feel like my concerns were not taken seriously. Adding insult to injury, just yesterday I booked another service for today at 4 PM. I patiently waited for two hours, but no one showed up. I received no phone calls or email notifications regarding any cancellation. When I tried to contact their service line, nobody answered. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of communication is completely unacceptable. Given these repeated disappointments, I have reached a point where I can no longer tolerate the poor service provided by Urban You. I will not be using their services again in the future. The inconveniences, wasted time, and lack of accountability have left me thoroughly dissatisfied as a customer. I would strongly advise others to seek alternative cleaning service providers to avoid similar frustrations.
Satisfaction NOT GuaranteeI have used this service many a time with a great cleaner. She was unavailable when I decided to sign back up. I was happy to see this new cleaner they offered as I though the standard would be the same as my previous cleaner from Urban You. To my disappointment it wasn’t. She only came for 1.5 hours and bought a second person to help on the day when the total clean was 3 hours.
I could only find that the cleaner ticked 5 of the 16 jobs for the normal house clean they advertised.

Unfortunately this wasn’t the case. They would rather lose ongoing customers than actually following through with their guarantee. If you hire them next time, make sure the cleaner knows what you expect and what the service has advertised. Ask for Sue if you’re in the Sydney eastern suburb area, she is a gem.
Misleading and Deceptive practices by phone staff: Do Not Use!Do not use this company. They mislead you into believing they charge by the room and that the cleaner would take as long as they needed to fulfil the job, they then charge you by the hour and assign less hours, so that you have to pay for extra hours hours, in addition to what was agreed. They then ask for your card details, assuring you the money would not be taken until AFTER the cleaner had finished the job, and instead, swipe the money 2 days prior, and without you fully confirming the service.
Never showed up- TWICEI organised a clean on a Friday. No one came. I called. Lots of apologies and promises to come Monday - if possible. Notified by email Monday morning that my job had been “skipped”. No follow up call. No reason given. Nothing. Very unreliable and unprofessional business
The worst cleaning service I've ever usedCharged us an extra $30, saying the price we had paid through the website was incorrect, which we had to wait several days to be refunded.
Got two confirmation messages with different times.
Paid for 3 hours, but the cleaner snuck out without saying anything after 2
Asked them to focus on the bathrooms, but didn't clean the shower or one of the sinks at all
This last bit sounds so absurd I debated about including it in the review, but the cleaner took a beer from our fridge and drank half of it, leaving the half drunk can on the bench when they left.
SIMPLE...DONT USE URBANYOU!From the time of booking this service was unprofessional. The cleaner cancelled hours before my clean. When I called the company they told me a different story to the cleaner...someone is telling lies? After many phone calls and emails I rebooked for the following week. Got an email to say cleaner(s) were booked for 8am. The cleaners arrived at 6.45am with no communication before hand. One of the cleaners did not have a clue everything she did I had to get the other cleaner to go back and do again. They packed the car and I had to chase them as they needed to clean the bathroom again!!! This was suppose to be a gift from my family and it turned into a nightmare...SIMPLE DONT USE URBANYOU!
Do not use urban youWas supposed to be a one off spring clean. They didn’t clean the bathrooms and lots of other things not done . Have been arguing with company, who offered me refund of $50 (525 service) which they will refund to my credit card which they then told me they still had saved, despite turning off the recording when I had to pre-pay it!! They were supposed to be there for 10.5 hours but were not there that long. Very very dodgy.
Worst experience everI made a booking with Urban You for a cleaner 7 days in advance and then i got a text message the night before saying they couldn't find a cleaner for me and had moved the appointment back two weeks. I called them and asked to have it sooner as i had guests coming to stay the following weekend. They booked me in again for the following Friday which was 8 days again from this booking. Had a couple of texts during the week saying they couldn't find a cleaner again and its now the day before the next booked clean and they have charged a payment fo... Read morer a clean my card. I thought great, they have found a cleaner so called them and they advised that no, still no cleaner had been booked and they wouldn't be getting one for this clean either. I asked about them taking my money and they advised that is the process. Stay away!
Don't touch them - hopeless serviceI booked a clean at least a week in advance as I was going away and having people to stay in my house. I had to pay upfront on the day of booking. Price as not cheap but I figured it was worth it to secure the clean as last time I booked with Airtasker the cleaner let me down on the day and never arrived leaving me to clean the whole house before my guests arrived. The booking was for 1pm and at 1.10pm I got a call from Urban Company to say that the cleaner had a car issue and that they could not make it. I also got an email from them sayin... I told them that it was urgent that I got a cleaner and although the person I spoke to pretended to try and help me they were unable to get someone to come and so once again I ended up cleaning my house on the day of travel for my guests. They are clearly a joke and and I would most definitely NEVER use them again. Don't take the chance.
Terrible service and unprofessional cleanersSales person quotation was not followed by the cleaners. We paid for 7 hours and they left in 4.5 hours with out finishing the job. Cleaners are 2 Indian ladies for an accurate description. PLEASE DONOT USE URBAN YOU
Terrible company, very unprofessionalI engaged them as an NDIS participant and they cancelled 3 weeks in a row via text at 7pm the night before. Extremely unprofessional and disorganised. Not worth the effort
Unreliable. Charge before a service they never deliverI made a booking and paid in advance and on the day of service the cleaner didn’t show up and they failed to send a replacement!! They don’t care about the time you waste waiting for their workers and prepping the place for the job to be done. They’d only offer a refund that won’t be paid for another 10 days. Stay away the most unreliable service ever.

They requested a reschedule to Friday 9:30-10:30. (Grrr, Fine)
Reschedule text 8:30 night before to 12pm Friday. (Grrr, Fine)
Ask them to see where their cleaner was. They said they would call me back 5 mins.
40 mins later a called back, didn't know what I was talking about?
Me: cancelled the booking.
Summary: Do not bother. If they are like this, what on earth are their cleaners like?
