Gardener arrived 11.35 for my 30 minutes service he left 11.45 I asked him to complete his job weeds etc his response was he doesn’t have time incomplete job left all grass on floor and left

Mownow carried out the first mow after new lawn and new reticulation was installed and they left one sprinkler visibly broken and snapped off after they were asked to be mindful of the reticulation. They didn’t reply to the email complaint and were hard to reach. Would not recommend them.
Follow-up · The lawn mowing itself was satisfactory yes. They said they tried to replace the part but weren’t able to find it. They took several days to respond.
SCAM ALERT !!! This company is a scam. My phone provider sent multiple warnings to me identifying both their mobile numbers as scam warnings! Stay away (The numbers are on their website and end with 398 and 757 ) The person I spoke to sounds like an overseas call centre and hung up on me when I tried to call initially

This company is THE WORST! I am probably one of the most tolerable customer who didn’t make a complaint after one month of waiting!! rescheduling my service. I wasn’t too concerned in the beginning until it wasn’t done after two weeks. I called and texted them numerous times, and every time was empty promises. Finally one day, a guy showed up, and did a terrible job of the front yard, the grass was cut unevenly, and the lawn was left in great mess. Then I contacted them again, they mentioned 3 hours wasn’t enough, and I needed to pay another $80 to finalise the job, and I paid on the same day again which I really shouldn’t. Then the same thing happened again, they kept on rescheduling. I told them clearly that the last thing I want is to waste my time and write a horrible review for them, I gave them so many chances and they failed every single time. Stay away from this company!!

My first experience with Mow Now booked thru Jen who is very helpful and efficient. There was a little hiccup because the gardener Dan was inadvertently delayed by the previous customer, hence he arrived later than expected @ 4:30pm. Dan did a great job but it got too dark for him to trim hedges as planned. I will def recommend Mow Now, but be clear on what you want done and stick to the plan. Thank you Jen!

I've asked them for a quote on ongoing lawn mowing and after asking me three times by SMS what my address is, then they just said : please feel free to reach out in the future ?!. No I interest in actually quoting

explanation. At one point, I was even asked how much I would be willing to pay — which made it feel like they were simply testing what they could get away with.
They also charged my credit card without my consent, which is a breach of Australian consumer law.
Their customer service, particularly a staff member named Ava, was extremely unprofessional — calls were not returned, she abruptly ended conversations, and despite me clearly not approving an extra payment, the charge was still processed.
Overall, a VERY disappointing experience.

and a family thing that eveningnso he could not stay, the second hour was rebooked for the Monday to finish the job. On Monday I contacted Anne at 9am to get a rough ETA and find out if he would be there in the morning or afternoon with no response. I called to see what was happening about 1:15pm only to be left on hold for 15 minutes and call again from a different number and be told I'd get a call back in 30 minutes. Over an hour later with no communication I called back to find out what was happening. I was told that the gardener had to extended someone else appointment that morning and could not make it to me today. I had rearranged my schedule to be home for this appointment only to sit and wait all day. Now at 38 weeks pregnant and no one able to help I'm forced attempt this myself. Such disappointing experience.
They give a quote, you prepay. Then the guy arrived at the end of the day and half way through said he needed to go off and have a 15 min break then come back. He then says he has run out of time. I have been trying to get someone to phone me back for a week now but I am just ignored. All my texts messages etc ignored. Booked the service only to arrive home the day it was supposed to have been completed and find my lawns in the same state. I had to follow up with mow now who said their gardener had only just (at 5pm) notified them that he wasn't doing any jobs that day despite prior bookings. Keeping in mind this had already been paid for in advance too. Don't give them the chance.
Very pleased with the service provided by Tony this morning. He did a great job despite my hard rubbish on the nature strip. Also blew off the grass from the footpath, making my front yard looked nice and tidy. Thank you for the excellent service, Mow Now!
Worst ever mowing company, do yourself a favour and move on quickly. If I could give them a minus rating I would. Paid upfront as required scheduled the visit, 3 rescheduled appointments and 3 weeks later still no mow. Due to NO mow we cancelled the service and 4 weeks later still fighting to get the upfront payment back,it’s a total disgrace.
Mike did a great job. He came when he said, was friendly & efficient. And the lawn & edges were perfectly done and look fantastic. We will insist on MowNow sending Mike again, now that we know we can trust him. Thanks MowNow!

Great service from Brad – Brad was excellent in mowing the lawn and trimming the edges for my front and back yards that has been overgrown for a month. Special thanks for his dedication and prompt response. But the company actually said it’s a 2 man job but only sending one that I can see. Though the customer service didn’t actually send through photos to the gardener and I did not receive any photo afterwards either.

Do Not Recommend MOWNOW – MOWNOW is very unprofessional. Their gardeners don’t know how to trim edges properly and leave parts of the lawn unattended. Highly not recommended.

looked nice but a few weeks later all the weeds emerged. Not only this I found they had thrown the grass clippings into my rose bushes rather than put them in the green waste bin. I texted the company pictures and wanted an explanation. They said they would call head office and get back to me. No one got back to me. They kept harassing me for reminders to rebook and kept ignoring my phone calls. Very disappointed and after wasting $150 for the weed service am avoiding this company. Don’t sign up with them. Also a different person answers the phone so they have no idea what you texted or said at the last phone call. Usually when they answer there is no mention of the company name and they sound like they just woke up. Extremely unprofessional.
Waste of Money – Two years ago, I engaged a mowing and cleanup service for $480, expecting a thorough job as requested. Unfortunately, they only performed a basic $80 mow, leaving the rest of the work incomplete. To address the shortfall, they offered me a $10 voucher, which I found unsatisfactory. Based on this experience, I would not recommend their services or use them again.
